“Went over there looking for an obscure part and was welcomed by the friendly staff. Amie helped me try and match something else which would work instead, but I ended up having to look elsewhere. She was super helpful and it was a pleasure talking with her.”

“I just wanted to pass on my thanks to the team and the fitter, Josh, for the great job done to replace the coir mat destroyed by our 2 puppies in our hall.We were delighted (and amazed!) that you still had the karndean vKP40 American oak in stock after our initial order in March 2013 and Josh has done a fantastic job fitting it. He was very polite, hardworking and great with 2 Labrador puppies!Highly recommended!”

“Went shopping in Welwyn Garden City John Lewis which has a great selection of goods. I always buy my electrical goods at JL as they offer 2 years warranty. We then visited The Place To Eat for some great coffee and cake which was clean and tidy.”

“To begin with, I’d like to say a big thank you to the team at the Welwyn Garden City branch, as they do a fantastic job in providing exceptional customer care and always went above and beyond to meet our needs and sort out effectively and efficiently the few minor issues that we encountered. So first and foremost I think most important for a lot of people is the price. After shopping online and also going in to at least 7 different physical stores, both high street chains and local retailers, I can confirm that Carpetright had the best prices. What I mean by that, is that the quality of their products for the same price point was superior to the rest. On top of that they provided the best price for fitting compared to everyone else, which obviously is something to consider as product price can fluctuate but fitting is standard. Continuing on I would say that the whole process from purchase to fitting was quick and in line with the agreed deadlines, with every person we dealt with, being pleasant, helpful and adapting to our needs and around our busy work schedule. Finally my at most compliments go to Mohsen and his team, “the fitting squad”, who did an impressive job in fitting both the LVT and the carpet with excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail!! If you guys are reading this, thank you personally, what an amazing job!!! ??????Now for the issues we faced. As anyone who had to deal with “house things” before knows, nothing ever comes without any hurdles. For us a couple of things came up. First was that prior to the fitting, we found out that there was additional prep work needed to our floor, which was a surprise as that was brought up after the initial survey was done. Second one was that once the job was completed, we discovered that we had included in our order some materials, which ended up not being used. That is when thankfully, Amin and Shervin (the store team), did an excellent job in finding a satisfactory solution to rectify the situation quickly, which was very reassuring and made the whole process very smooth and stress free despite those minor issues. To summarise, we had a great experience throughout and would, without a doubt, recommend the service to anyone who’s in the market for flooring/carpet. Especially if you are looking for a competent, efficient and trusted team that focuses on customer satisfaction. On top of that the end result was excellent and we are very happy with our choice and the experience as a whole!!”

“Reasonable stock, reasonable prices and quality but I always shop around because there's sometimes better quality or priced items at B&Q, Screwfix or Travis Perkins. Annoyingly the timber varies greatly in quality. Good customer service and friendly too. Parking is always easy and level access.”

“Nice place to find stuff. If you want to check online first and compare with toolstation, b&m , amazon etc. I found few things cheaper on the other place. BUT B&Q is one place to shop and save time”
