So disappointed. I dont know what has happened to the food. We order regularly, but in recent weeks the chow mein has been dry and tasteless, i had to add lots of seasoning,
soy sauce and srirarcha. Previously it has been gorgeously flavoursome. I just dont know whats gone wrong here.. change if chef??

DO NOT EAT HERE unless you want to wait hours and have microwaved dry food.
We are regulars. Live about 5-10 mins away. Food took 2 hours to turn up. Had to ring up multiple times. After 1 hour was told food was sitting on the side. After 1hour 30 minutes was told that the driver had left 5 minutes ago (a complete lie as it took another 30 minutes). Food had clearly been microwaved when it turned up. Was dry. Really poor quality. Staff lied to us and the manager was incredibly rude saying if we had touched the food we couldn?t get ANY compensation despite waiting 2 hours and the food being incredibly poor. Regulars have been lost today.

Great Chinese takeaway. The yellowbean chicken is always amazing, as is the crispy seaweed and spring rolls and chicken satay. A bit more pricey than other takeaways, but the food is always amazing. Delivery is always quick. Online ordering is very easy too and updates are given on timing which is useful.

Not best meal and not great, tasteless chicken curry thin watery sauce and prawns in batter dry but chilli beef ok very expensive for duck so didn't get it in the end
No crackers provided even though bill was over 100 quid
Won?t be using again prefer Dragon Garden but it was closed NYD

Never go there again. They didn't accept my card and asked me to order online after I placed the order. They want more money to make my food spicy. I asked for a refund and also they charged £3.50 for refund too.
Food turned out to be horrible. There are so many good chinese take away in Watford. Please use them . I made a mistake.

Absolutely terrible, waited over 1 hour and 50 minutes for delivery. No call to say there was a delay, had to call after 1 hour and 15 minutes to see where the order was. For a place that charges for delivery (£3) and 75p for processing fees using card is diabolical. For 4 items including delivery and processing fee for paying by card it came upto £38.25. Complete rip off and the food was mediocre. Definitely not worth waiting nearly 2 hours for and definitely not worth the price. I don't mind paying for good tasting food and service but this was neither. I would advise to give this a miss and spend your money elsewhere.

Chicken green peppers dish tasted of fish, have ordered many times in past and was lovely, when called to complain was told that was 'impossible' as they didn't serve any fish dishes and kitchen doesnt stock fish sauce, they do however have an entire category of seafood. Was told it was the black beans flavour...it was not, very poor customer service. Will not ordering again.

Charged delivery even though less than a mile away and spent over £90. No complimentary drink or prawn crackers after making large order. I mistakenly ordered wrong dish online. Zero understanding or empathy and was told to re-order (no problem) and pay delivery again which shouldn?t have been charged in the first place or come and collect it cash only. Fried rices were bland apart from my chicken fried rice no egg which seemed to have decent flavour and colour. Food was mediocre and service was very bad. Although delivery was quick. I hope it was just a busy stressful night and they learn to cope better. Unhappy customer.

Cash Only unless you order online! Although must be the best Chinese takeaway in Watford! Have tried from Abbots Langley, Watford and Bushey and most don't even compare. Constructive criticism would be if they could add spring onions to their fried rice but that's personal preference.Parking: Some parking across the street to stop to collect your takeaway also some in front of the new build flats

We?ve not ordered a Chinese takeaway for a while but when we do we always order from Wok Express and they didn?t disappoint us. We ordered online which was quick and easy and the food was delivered well before the estimated delivery time. The portions were a generous size, the Prawn Crackers were fresh, all of the dishes were piping hot and absolutely delicious. We would most definitely recommend Wok Express.
