Amazing customer service for this gentleman on the tills. He sold me five of my winning scratch cards this last month and for that I must say he really is a good luck charm! If I see him at the tills I will be buying a scratch card again.

The WH_Carpet might be gone on twitter but this place would be a great addition to it, aside from the usual mess all WH Smith shops are as the understaffed overworked underpaid and high price business model WH Smith shops follow. The floor has holes in it! The wood effect lino has worn through to the very fabric of the building!
It is obvious WH Smith as a company have cut store maintenance down so much to off load its high street shops it is willing to risk damaging the building.

Re post office: Initially it wasn?t busy and I was first in the queue. There was only one man serving and he was doing other stuff, which is fine, but he should have said out of courtesy that he?ll be with us. The queue was getting bigger and bigger. When he finally called me, he was so rude - I wasn?t aware of a process and rather than explain, seemed annoyed. I had other things to post but I just left because of bad service.

Absolute horrible experience. Went to the front counter on Monday 28th just to ask a question about a book and Massie or Mazie was behind the till. She was typing on the computer so I waited patiently, didn't want to interrupt her. She looked up, saw me and continued typing, so I stood closer and leant on the counter as a hint to, you know I'm waiting... She picks up a book, WALKS AWAY and leaves me there at the unmanned counter. What kind of service is that? I followed her to ask the question either way and she walked straight past me staring at me laughing. THIS LADY DOES NOT KNOW ME! what is her problem?? WhSmith should really check who they are employing because clearly this girl does NOT want to be there. Disgraceful.
Opted for the service at Waterstones instead. Massies attitude is a great reflection of the way she looks in those pants, DISGUSTING.

If you only have 10 mins of your time I suggest you find another post office. This one is full of old women who can?t work a till. 3 of them are all assisting 1 customer whilst the line was getting bigger and bigger. Stood for 45 mins and in the end just left. Waste of time

The staff are miserable and I dont blame them the shop design in all wh smiths has not changed in 30 years . They need to really redesign their stores .

This post office seems to pick and choose when they want to accept our click and drop parcels. The rude server today, who wanted to lecture about the weight (230g) being slightly higher than what was noted even though click and drop has a maximum weight of 2kg for small parcels. May I suggest she familiarises herself with her companies terms and conditions and policies, before attempting to be rude and wasting peoples time. The said parcel was accepted perfectly fine by another post office.

A bit drab, seems to only be one till for the entire shop which wasn't mannedcwhen I tried to use the selfserve till and the special offer barcode wouldn't scan. Took a while before an assistant came. On the upside there were many travel books on clearance and I spent much more than I intended to

Been to this post office a few times and each time when there is a massive line, there is only one member of staff serving and another pottering about rather than helping the line go down. Also more to that there is woman member of staff with short blonde/brown hair and whilst serving she has her mobile on her knee texting. Worst place for customer service all staff just do not seem to care

Big range of magazines books and other products abit high priced but still very worth a visit.Been going here since the 90s!
