I went to Vision Express in Watford for a quick opinion regarding the seriousness of a sudden eye problem. My eyes were examined by ophthalmologist Kavi Kotecha. The examination was the most thorough and professional I have ever experienced from any other company, including Moorfields. Mr. Kotecha and the Vision Express supporting staff definitely deserve 5 stars.

I booked an appointment at Vision Express today for what I was told would be a contact lens test, which was supposed to be free if I purchased the lenses. I even came with a voucher that clearly stated ?30% off for the first 3 months with a free eye test?.
Instead, they carried out a standard eye test for glasses, which is completely useless for contact lenses, and then charged me £30 for it. Not only did they ignore the voucher, but they also told me I would need to pay again for the actual contact lens test.
This feels like a complete scam. Nothing was properly explained, and it seems the only goal is to take as much money as possible from decent people. Very disappointing and dishonest service.

0 customer service and had to wait 25 min to be seen even though I had an app. I rung 4x in the week waiting up to 30min and had no answer. Left a message on the 4th attempt and on arrival no one knew what I was talking about. Shambles

I visited Watford Branch and the optician Kavi was excellent never had been checked like this took great care and great time dping the checks very very impressed will recomend him to my family and freinds keep it up .

All the staff are great at the Watford branch - always so helpful and knowledgeable. Great team! I?ve had eye tests here for years and they are so thorough - really calm and take their time. Always available to answer questions. Also Ash was particularly helpful in store and on the phone.
