Absolutely fine for a single night crash pad

Location: easy access to shops and other places
Service: I would say okay. But not great! For the budget it?s ok. The manager wasn?t very polite. She could have been more polite when asked for information etc.
Other staff very polite and helpful.
I think the manager should learn from the general staff how to be more friendly with the customers. It?s a put off when you ask for something and even tough the answer is a NO. There is a way you could say it instead of a big fat NO and move on!

Its a travelodge..... adequate, as they all seem to be. Biggest let down was that we were in Watford

Hotel was lovely and clean and well appointed. Staff nice and friendly. Didn't realise there was a bar/restaurant there, so that was nice as the surrounding area was not really suitable for wandering around looking for eateries or things to do. Meals well priced in the restaurant, which was clean and not too busy and breakfast was lovely and plentiful.
There is no air con but fans are in room for your use. Nice clean bathroom.
Overall, great for an overnight stay but not for a few days.

Great Travelodge. Service was great. Just some road noise during the night.

We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days as we had booked the Warner Bros Studio Tour. The hotel was in a great location super close to the town as well as not far from the train station. The hotel room was lovely, it does get hot but they do provide a fan and also had a duvet incase we wanted one as they don?t put it on the bed because of the heat. We ate there the first night and the food was lovely, the lady chef was really polite. We were able to take drinks up to the room etc.
the highlight of the hotel was Curtis, he was very accommodating and so polite, he made you feel very at home. He was definitely a great part of our trip!

Checked in and left within 10 minutes of being in the room. Bed bugs / fleas jumping on us from the bed and the arm chair. Visible dirt and grime on the bed and whole room was horrible. I?m not surprised bed bugs have made home in it!

Great location for central Watford. All the staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. We had rooms on the top floor in July and as a result they were quite warm as the hotel has no AC. Travelodge do provide a fan in the room but I?d recommend bringing your own too. The rooms are a good size as well.
We had breakfast one of the days we stayed there and was cooked to order at the time we ate. Selection of breakfast items on offer was good and the member of staff did an excellent job looking after breakfast and reception by herself.
We will be returning.

One particular member of staff during the night extremely rude and arrogant doesn't do his job properly and expects guests to take his attitude likes to threaten guests that he will get them evicted from hotel asked for Redbull other night and was told it was £3.90 refused to pay that and he said pay for the bloody drink which is why he needs to be removed

Ideal place to stay for going to Wembley. Reasonable price rooms adequate and clean car park next door where you get a discount for staying in the Travelodge plenty of places to eat and drink

When will Travelodge provide proper light blocking curtains? 5.30am (early June) and I'm awoken by the light pouring into my room. I definitely won't book another Travelodge room during the summer months from this point on. If Travelodge's main competitors can sort it out, why can't they???

A good hotel for the price. The rooms are small but clean ? a solid option for an overnight stay. There are several parking spots nearby where you can leave your car overnight. Everything seemed fine, except for one major issue: you won?t get breakfast. The café is under renovation, but the staff don?t mention it, even though breakfast is advertised everywhere in the hotel. We were traveling with two kids and had to check out earlier than planned just to find a place to eat. That was really inconvenient and disappointing.

A Travelodge is a Travelodge. But I need to mention how kind, happy, helpful and friendly the staff were, both evening and morning. Best ever.
