Nice quiet cozy pub. Great roasts choices of meat and food sizes. Enormous Yorkshire puds. And delicious deserts, would definitely recommend if your looking for a great roast dinner at the right price.
Parking: Close to main roads.

Disappointed with the Friday lunch carvery today . X5 of us went. Lots of selection but Food was warm. Medium busy hence food probably sitting under heat lamps too long. Mentioned it to our friendly attentive Waitress and she kindly heated it in the microwave for me. Chef was stingy with his carving of meat today. Wanted to try all x4 and he carved the thinnest slices possible of each. Wouldn?t go back and would rather have a pub roast or home one. ??

Didn't end up staying as when we arrived we were told to sit down so we did, we waited 10min and still no member of staff had any interest in coming over to us and served people that came in after us, so I basically spent an hour driving on my birthday just to waste fuel and time on a very ignorant restaurant. We won't return there in a hurry that's for sure.

Our server, Lindsey, was great but the veg was strangely on the cold side today.
It's never usually a problem - we assumed it was because it was very quiet so it had been sitting there a while.
It's a great Toby though, we'll be back.

The fruits given as part of child?s pudding were substandard and rotten. The veggie options as part of carvery were very less as compared to other locations. The service was also extremely slow on table.

The staff were very friendly, kind and excellent service, however the food was so terrible, the potato?s were squishy and starchy, looked very undercooked and microwaved? no chicken at the carvery? the Yorkshire puddings were like crisps, side orders came incomplete after waiting 25 minutes and it was just very disappointing.. I wasn?t expecting much but it was just awful

Booked for a Saturday afternoon lunch with family. Had a huge range of times to book and I made the booking within minutes on the website. Immediately seated and attentive staff. Food was amazing too.
