The staff at the self checkout operate this place like a maximum security prison. I have never been to a supermarket with such rude staff. It?s like they treat you as a suspected thief and it?s guilty until proven innocent. I won?t be visiting again

I had to use the baby change facilities today at 6pm with my 3 month old and they were atrocious. The toilet was full of tissue and the seat was covered with feces. You'd be inclined to forgive and think it had only just happened but unfortunately the nappy bins that were overflowing and filthy and the flies buzzing around gave away that it had obviously not been cleaned in a fair amount of time. I seriously debated waiting until I got home to change my baby's dirty nappy. When leaving the change facility I found the first member of staff I could (who was wearing a radio headset, so was obviously more than capable of communicating with her colleagues) and informed her that the baby change facilities were filthy and she told me to go and speak to customer services. Photos obviously not included as nobody wants to see pictures of that.

Usually get what I need in here hassle free. I usually visit either this Tesco or the one in Hemel at Jarmans Park. Staff are friendly too.

Some staff are very unprofessional.
This happened just one hour ago.
I have my purchased items in my hand. Three items. I am going out of the store. Another person is getting in as I am going out. Somehow, because of the trolley or whatever reason the entrance scanners start beeping at the person entering. The security guard is calling at me ?hello!!!?. I waited and said ?yes?? He comes to me and tells me you bought three items? I said ?yes?. He said, ?OK?. That is it!
How ridiculous this is really. He even didn?t notice that the scanners for the person entering beeped.
Though, he came to me and I had my receipt in my hand, he didn?t check it. He was like ?OK?. How disrespectful!
Maybe he is a manager?s cousin or friend that he got that job.
Disrespectful people to their customers!
They look with a suspicious eye to all their customers. Shame!

Always handy if you forgotten something as it's not a large store.

Today my family went to do our regular glossary shopping with the scan and go scanners, we thought all the items were scan properly however we found out that the scanner didn?t scan 2 cucumbers in our shopping the lady that was working in the scan and go area took out all our shopping and made our cold food turn warm as she put all the items on a table, the super market was very hot and my family lost our Tesco voucher I am extremely discussed and my family won?t be shopping in this Tesco's again!

The baby change at this store has always been terrible. Today it was out of action completely, with no alternative provisions made. Although the staff were polite when I complained, there was little inclination to help (in a shop that sells baby changing mats) Our family spends hundreds every month at this store so the least that could be done is to provide a hygenic, dignified and private place to change our children. I was left with no choice but to change her on the dirty floor of the public corridor to the toilets?..do better Tesco! Disgraceful! I will start shopping elsewhere

Mubarak was very helpful in assisting me while purchasing a garden chair last week. He bought it to the car for me and unpacked it and put it into the back of my car. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Great customer service

I would like to express my deepest thanks to the trained, considerate and caring members of staff, who were quickly on site after I suffered a fall in the car park, this morning. The fall resultered in an ambulance being for assistance , and the staff, and other caring customers were highly supportive. Thank you all.

I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for a truly outstanding member of staff at the Tesco store in Watford, Ross from the bakery section. During my recent visit, I was feeling quite shy and anxious, as I often do when shopping, but Ross went above and beyond to make my experience not only comfortable but genuinely uplifting.
From the moment I approached the bakery area, Ross greeted me with a warm, enthusiastic smile and an approachable manner that immediately put me at ease. He was friendly, patient, and incredibly supportive, particularly in how he engaged with me as a disabled customer. It was clear that he genuinely cared and took the time to understand and meet my needs without ever making me feel singled out or uncomfortable.
His positive attitude and attentiveness turned what is often a stressful task into a really enjoyable part of my day. It's rare to come across someone who brings such passion and kindness to their role, and I believe Ross deserves full recognition for the way he treats every customer with dignity and respect.
Thank you, Ross, for your outstanding service and for making such a positive difference. Tesco is very lucky to have you on their team.

Absolutely hideous woman at the Travel Money counter blonde haired lady with glasses I didn't see her name tag to get her name. I arrived at the counter, my phone showed 6pm. Refused to serve me saying it had become 6:01 pm. No customer service whatsoever refused to serve as it was 6:01pm. Drove all that way to be refused service for the sake of 1 minute. Nasty.

The design of this store is terrible! What genius decided to put the big pillars right next to the tills? You can?t move your trolley through if there are people queueing to pay and this is more difficult with fat pillars blocking your path. Might be the biggest supermarket chain in England, but seems like it employs people with the smallest of brains.
Moreover, why does the milk section always smell like a stew made of rotten eggs and sewage??? ?
