The building is amazing with original brickwork and nothing out of place to make it ?modern?

A lovely little church set about half a mile from the main road and village, with a Holy well just over the field by Clews Farm.

They managed to accommodate my brother's wedding on the first day after the Covid restrictions were lifted. The staff went above and beyond to make this happen.

Pretty little church close to the centre of the village with a friendly vicar. We attended a friends funeral service and burial.

Unfortunately, seems to be kept locked. This is one of those ancient Surrey parish churches which has never been accompanied by a village. The horrible modern settlement nearby grew from some cottages around a small common (now the village green). The most important thing here (actually down a footpath going south-west) is the Holy Well of St John the Baptist. This is a natural chalybeate spring, thought to have been used for baptisms by Christians under the Roman Empire and, as such, the oldest Christian monument in Surrey.
