Absolutely horrible staff!
I must?ve spent 100s of pounds on SD products across outlets and I know that staff politeness is not their strongest point. But the watford outlet is a different level of rude. Tried to ask about printing custom name for my son for a product bought from SD Manchester, she was least interested in even hearing properly. Replied with a curt ?no? without explaining what and why. On questioning her she gave a completely made up reason different from what others in the same shop were saying. As if they are doing a favor.
If they continue this, footfalls will soon disappear.

Extremely unpleasant experience. Recently, I went to the shop during the week, around 1pm. I was looking for a quick in and out, try two pairs of trainers that I was interested in Buy one and go. The service was horrendous. There was no one in the shoe section upstairs to help me for ages. Then a guy appeared, but at the start, he completely ignored me. When he finally decided to help, I had to wait 30 minutes for him to bring the wrong shoe size.. I decided i couldn't waste another 30 minutes for the correct one.. In the end, I wasted an hour of my time, which was my lunchbreak, and couldn't get the shoes I wanted. If the service was better, the shop would do so much better. But the service has been bad for a long time now.

I recently went to return the item I was already asked before purchasing the item about return policy and they said yes and will give me credit (gift card) . But when I went to return they just refused to do it. I mean how they can refuse if I already asked .so disappointed
Staff also was not good ,Not supportive .

Sports Direct makes it so difficult for customers who want to customise T-shirts in-store. It?s really inconvenient to buy a T-shirt you want customised and then be told you have to come back and pick it up two days later. I don?t understand why all staff aren?t trained to do customizations or whether they just can?t be bothered to do it on the day.

Went into the shop today(Watford intu branch) with the purpose of buying School trainers and football boots for my Son. When I got there the store was bigger than i expected. I walked up and down and no one asked what I wanted. Finally asked a member of staff who was at the till for the children's section. She said it was upstairs. There is no signage to say what is what. Finally made my way upstairs the sign on the wall said size 3-6 I wanted a size 6 so thought was in the right section only to be told that size 6 is in the men's section. So why put the sign there in the first place. Got to the mens section and the member of staff wasn't that helpful. So I walked out and I won't be going back in hurry. If there was no help at past 9 in the morning I wonder what it would be like when it's busy. Management or someone at the top needs to look at the store setting and planning as i'm sure youre loosing business. I went somewhere else to buy my stuff.

I don?t usually leave comments like this, but during our recent visit to the kids? shoe section, we had a very unpleasant experience. Some of the staff working there had a strong, unpleasant body odor, which made it extremely uncomfortable to shop. The smell was so overwhelming that even my 6-year-old started gagging, and we had to leave without making a purchase. It would be greatly appreciated if better attention could be given to personal hygiene among staff. It would really improve the overall shopping experience.

Genuinely couldn?t believe how rude their staff is. Was walking around trying to find staff to get a shoe size. Found someone and when I said ?excuse me? he turned around and angrily told me ?to just wait my turn?. I didn?t even realise he was serving someone.
When I said you shouldn?t speak to me that way he just said he is too busy and it?s okay.
Put the shoe down and went to JD sports instead. Much nicer staff who actually do their job.

Placed an online order. Items needed returning. No email confirmation sent although money was taken from bank. Item was advertised at one price but increased as soon as it was placed in the basket. No notice that parcel had been delivered, I just found it hurled at my house by chance. All numbers on the parcel weren't recognised as an order number. Looks like a visit to store will be needed. Rubbish

DO NOT SHOP HERE.
I bought an item 2 days ago and realised once I got home that it had a small hole in it.
I went back to the store with the reciept and tags - the manager refused to refund or exchange the item for an identical item.
Not only does the store not care about customer service, but there is no help via sports direct's broader customer service online, which will simply tell you that any decision is up to the in-store manager.
