I was in Primark Watford on Wednesday 27/8/2025 to purchase a dressing gown for my granddaughter and the service I received Sajida on Tills and Rajesh who works on children clothing section was exceptional they both went out of there way to ensure I left with the item I had come to purchase. Thank you very much to both of them.

Rude and terrible staff, lady on first floor tills Leah so rude and using a harsh tone like we buying the clothes for free, she has to be taught some manners and respect as she does not have them and I?m very disappointed in the way she treated me

Every single time I?m here the lines are uncontrollable, zero coordination from the management or bother about customer service! You have a ton of staff walking about when you should mote manning the tills and improving the experience!

Hi everyone I?m writing this to raise awareness for everyone.
I?m disgusted by the way I was treated today at Primark Watford. I was using the accessible queue due to my joint problems and hidden disabilities, only to be told by a staff member that I?m in the wrong queue and that I am not disabled.
Just because my condition isn?t visible doesn?t mean it isn?t real. The woman who spoke to me was incredibly rude, dismissive, and showed zero understanding or compassion. Her attitude was not only upsetting ? it was discriminatory.
Hidden disabilities are valid and should be treated with the same respect as any other. I left the store not only feeling embarrassed and disrespected but feeling really upset and discriminated.
This was completely wrong and I have never had this happen to me in Primark before. I won?t be returning to this store until they teach their staff proper manners and respect.

I visit Primark often and have noticed that some managers can be rude to employees on the tills. Managers are easier to identify from their clothing and clipboards, so Primark needs to address this issue. Treating employees or shouting at them in front of customers is demotivating, and managers ultimately represent the brand on the shop floor. Primark needs to sort out its managers to ensure they respect employees as ultimately it?s damaging primark itself

I went to do a return in the upstairs tills and I got served by this lady I believe her name is Leah. She's short with a pixie cut and has red hair, so I went to do my return and the first thing she asked me was whose card is it ?? its my dad's card but I was confused and said it was mine. She then proceeded to grab my card out of my hand and read the card with MY DADS PRIVATE INFORMATION and said in a very nasty tone, shouting at me 'that this isn't you're card it's you're dad's' I said 'yes it is and what about it' she then made a big deal saying I can't do the return for you but luckily her manager was next to her and her manager said that if the last four digits are the same you can do the return she then was giving me very unpleasant looks during the return and when it was time to sign the receipt she threw the pen and was very careless about it. This has been happening for many years as my sister and me have been returning stuff and we somehow always get this lady and the same things happen every single time. Primark I don't know why shes still employed with the way she treats the customers who are nothing but nice to her. This really needs to be sorted.

I realise that you get what you pay for and yes Primark is cheap, but this store seems to believe that means that the customer service should be non-existent. I used to pop in every so often when I was in the Harlequin and pick up bits and pieces, especially things like work t-shirts that will get dirty/damaged so quality isn't the biggest factor. Over the last year or so the staffing has been reduced and there can be only two or three cashiers on, whilst the queue stretches to the end of the line of vacant tills. Meanwhile, several manager/supervisor types flit around with clipboards. A little better focus wouldn't hurt (e.g. - one supervisor goes off to carry on whatever jobs they have to do, whilst the others serve customers).

Very very long queues on both floors, seems they have deliberately cut staff because of higher staffing costs gifted by our competent new government. They keep just 2 staff in 15 tills on both floors making average queuing time more than 10 minutes. Not good.

Young man at the till - Muhammad! Service terrible, folding the clothes in a way any basic human being should know how to do...he literally was rolling it up like nobody ever taught him. On top of this, he was arrogant with an attitude whereby after rolling it like it was trash, he pushed it towards me. We are living in a country where manners and customer service has always been our culture and important, so please hire people who have this otherwise train them because you are making this country into a dump!

Last 5 visits, 10 minutes shopping, 20-25 minutes in the queue.

I just wanted to take the time out to say a massive thank you to a lady called Sophia (a manager I?m assuming) who assisted me in finding me what I needed and serving me with extra assistance for my condition as the queue was unbearable. It really makes such a difference when a store has staff like Sophia. Primark you have a gem in her! Treat her well :)

Overall, the store is good, with a wide variety of products on offer. It's a bit of a bummer that the employees are gloomy. But that doesn't stop you from shopping.
