We stayed there 1 night as we were going to visit the Harry Potter studios which is close by. Bedroom was OK, a bit small for 4 persons. Shower was not a pleasant experience. Wifi was really crapy. Breakfast was ok, the room was small but food was plenty and nice enough. Overall a good enough experience for one night.

Not the nicest Premier Inn I've stayed at, and not in the greatest location. Noisy neighbours can be heard easily and rooms aren't as nice as other Premier inns

We stayed at the Premier Inn North Watford 27th & 28th July. We were welcomed immediately on our arrival by warm smiles and very efficient service.
Nutan looked after our every need and nothing was too much trouble.
The meals were good and promptly brought to the table. The breakfasts were excellent, just like home cooking. All the staff were so lovely and very efficient and organised. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. ???

Whilst the room was clean and nice and everything you would expect from a premier inn, unfortunately the service from a skeleton staff left us feeling deflated and hungry. I want to say that the two staff members we saw during our stay were very helpful, but clearly rushed off their feet with no breaks and in such a rush to get all the jobs done that the service suffered. We waited for 2 hours for a cold pizza to come to the table and then further waited for dessert. We had paid for the meal deal previously so couldn?t just leave and go across the road to another restaurant. There was a manager in the office the whole time whilst the staff were rushed off their feet who did not come out once to see the complete lack of service and their staff working overtime just to try to keep things on time.
Will not return which is a shame because the room was nice, shower hot and staff that are here, were trying to help

Friendly staff, clean rooms and a decent breakfast. A comfortable stay close to bowling, cinema and a few restaurants

Clean and cheap. Couldn't really do much better for the area. Close enough to Garston station for getting into london, good links to bus services too. Also near to WB Making of Harry Potter if you are going there. Staff and friendly and happy to help. It is quieter than a lot of premier inns I have stayed at with minimal road noise and not too many guests in/out. Parking is free and plentifull. The free WiFi was better than expected.
Downsides are the lift is quite out of the way and seems to be an old staff lift made accessible to guests. I would say larger wheelchairs or buggies would not fit in this lift, so make sure to keep this in mind. The main card door to our floor stopped working a couple of days into our stay and it took a while for a sign to go up, we also had to go around the long way every time we moved around. The water also did go off a couple of times during our stay, which is unavoidable but annoying. The hotel is also located behind a TGI Fridays that closed end of 2024 and has been having issues with squatters. It does give quite a poor impression to have to pass this to get to the hotel behind, but it did not prove to be any trouble during our stay and it seems that work was starting.

Room nice bed comfy service slow from the minute we arrived to check in due to 1 person being on her own to do multiple jobs. Checking people in serving the bar serving the restaurant and she also had beds to change!! She was run off her feet and couldn't keep up and bless her she did it all with a smile on her face and was very polite helpful and friendly. Well done to you Jennifer ? shame of the management. More staff needed

Always stay here when we go to Harry Potter Studios. Its easily within walking distance (15-20 mins). It's also right near a McDonald's if you want a Mcflurry ?
Staff are polite and friendly and go above and beyond to help.
Rooms are good sized, clean and the air-con is a bonus but ours was very noisy and woke us up a couple of times in the night - sounded like running water.
The only gripes I have about the rooms are that there is not a plug socket on both sides of the bed and the toilet paper holders are very fiddly (personally I have never liked the sheet dispenser type)
But on the whole totally enjoyable experience and will always stay there - recommended ?

The hotel is very nice. The only reason it got a 4 is the pillows. They really need new pillows. The reason to go there is the people! I spent about 2 weeks there ant the staff is amazing! Helpful and kind. For that reason alone I recommend this hotel. Doreen was amazing as was everyone e else. Thanks for everything. Danielle and Alex

Stayed a night here with kids, brilliant experience start to end! The room was very comfortable, had great sleep. Woke up to a fantastic breakfast experience - my daughter has a severe allergy and Jennifer went above and beyond to help us during breakfast. She was so friendly, cheerful and accommodating, went out of her way to ensure we were okay. Couldn?t thank you enough Jennifer!!!

The hotel is located behind a closed down TGI Fridays. Easy to miss if you're not familiar with the area. It felt like we were staying in a run down area.
The staff tried their best to make our visit an enjoyable one but they were very understaffed. One person to run the reception area, bar area and taking food orders as well as delivering the food to the tables. This impacted upon the quality of service as the wait times were sometimes a little to long. When we arrived the food delivery hadn't arrived so the menu was very limited. The poor staff member on duty was clearly embarrassed by this as we had travelled a long way with limited food on offer which had already been pre-paid for.
It doesn't feel like a safe area to be out at night as the only way in and out to hotel is located next to the closed down restaurant which seemed to attract unsavoury characters parked up. The internal security seems a little bit lax to as on more than one occasion we managed to gain access to our room door without the need for our key card as the security door didn't close too fully.
Overall the staff deserve a medal for that they do here but sadly I wouldn't recommend a stay here and would not be looking to visit here again.
