I had an appointment with them at 1pm I arrived on time but was told to wait for ten minutes I ended up waiting for 2 hours to be seen. The worst customer service experience I?ve ever had.

I just received outstanding customer service from Edwin at the Watford branch of Metro Bank, and I feel obligated to let him know how happy I am with my experience.As I walked into the busy branch, Edwin treated me with professionalism and kindness right away! He assisted me with my problem and took the time to answer any queries I had regarding it.He was very reassuring, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly. I felt like a valued customer because of Edwin's proactive approach and friendly demeanor.I left the branch feeling confident in my choice of banking due to the exceptional service provided by Edwin.Thanks again, Edwin!

Absolutely disgusting customer service, bank anywhere else! I had reserved a safety deposit box online, went on Monday around 1:30/2 pm to go and set it up rude server immediately dismissed me and told me there was no way I getting attended to today and to go home come back tomorrow at 8am where I can then potentially get an appointment to be seen. As a working woman who has travelled from far to come to the bank only to be dismissed so rudely is appalling. Nevertheless I left peacefully and came back two days later at a similar time, having tried to ring prior and no help being given. Once again the same rude server, Amir, was immediately dismissive, I began to question this ridiculous system and the manager James rudely interrupted telling me to stop talking as I was DISTURBING and BOTHERING him and to go and sit down. Bearing in mind I was in no way shape or form speaking to him in the first place. I was extremely offended to be spoken to so rudely and think it is pathetic and disgusting that a bank valued for its good customer service can behave in such a disgraceful manner. Will be closing all accounts and not visiting ever again and I urge anyone who thinks of banking here to do the same. Overall I went back home once again still not having any access to my deposit box. Staff clearly have the time to be rude to customers maybe they should focus on serving them instead.

Wow! I was amazed. So I have had an account with the Metro Bank for a while, but this was the first time I visited my local branch, and I have to say what an experience it was. The staff are super friendly, and the interior of the bank is like something from a movie set with music playing softly in the background. Within 15 minutes, my issue was resolved. I left a very relaxed and happy customer.

It was an awesome experience for me. I came to open a new savings account here and the guy named VINOD helped me a-lot. He explained everything for me. He was so humbled and calm. I got my bank account opened on that day itself and he explained everything for me and guided me how to get a good CIBIL score

Went in to open a joint current account, was told we can come in anytime when we did they told us to wait 30 minutes, but then they were late in seeing to us. I previously had a joint account with my sister so there was not many checks to be done for me but after over an hour the asian guy said as its a Sunday checks will have to be made for my partner and that he or someone else would give us a call after checks had been made. They gave us a Customer Number and promised us a call by the Wednesday. No call and 6 days later when trying to phone them you CANNOT get through to the branch -the call centre does not want you to speak to anyone. Seriously if they want our business you would think they would make the effort. Will probably go elsewhere now to open an account.

Worst customer service. I?m talking about Asian guy who said he?s name is ?Anthon? but he didn?t even had badge with he?s name. He shouldn?t work there with his attitude and lack of knowledge. He didn?t want to change for me a small simple thing in the system. He said I have to do it in different way which would affect my credit score for 6 month. I called different guy and he changed it without any problems he?s name was James. Avoid ?Anthon ? or whatever he?s name is guy. Not helpful and extremely rude!!!

My mum was refused an appointment to open an account because of her poor understanding of English, I was told that even I as her son wasn?t allowed to be as an interpreter to assist her. Apparently it is against the law/bank?s policy.Was alternatively suggested to do it online, but the same man explained that if it would come to a point where the bank requires her to verify some of the documents and she would need to book an appointment then we would be refused to be seen.That?s discrimination! It made my blood boil!Would not even enter the Metro bank facilities even if I was paid to do it. It makes me sick.My mum works as hard as others and pays taxes like everyone else and she deserves every right to be able to open a bloody bank account.

I Went to open a current account with Metro after my online application was incomplete due to IT issues. I approached the desk and was greeted by Andrew (I hope that was his name) who was polite and courteous. I explained my query and he dealt with the issue swiftly. I received my card on the same day. Very good service, Thank you Andrew

I am trying to get access to my online banking account for the last 3 weeks. Customer service is really bad. First I called, I locked myself again and I was told to go to the store to sort this out. The lady over the phone couldn?t even change my address when I asked for the funny ?magic word?. I went to the store (To the main desk) and I couldn?t change my details again because the ?system? wasn?t working. So I went back few days later AGAIN to sort this out and this time I was told that I can?t do it at the main desk and I need to wait for someone for 30min! I left the bank and I called the customer service. After exactly 18min I gave up because I could hear was that you?re having an issue with the line. Are you all having a laugh? I just want get access to my online banking and I can?t do it over the phone and in the store! Terrible customer service! Lets see what you will tell me today!

Went in branch 6 times and spent over 2 hours in there just to open a current account and every time they would do a bit then kept sending me away and they never completed it in the end. A member of staff told me she would call me regarding something, never got the phone call. Photocopied my passport then lost it. Incompetant, unprofessional staff that seem they only work there for the sake of a job.
