I was served by Huw today who was absolutely brilliant! He really knows his stuff! We spent over an hour going through all the different types of hiking boots.He measured my feet, the way my feet arch, width etc to find the perfect boot.We went and picked out all the ones he thought would match my foot shape and let me try them out.Happily ended up buying some which I can trail and walk around inside for a while to see how they fit/feel, if I find them uncomfortable, I can take them back and can trail some others,Amazing place!! Very much recommend!!!

Couldn't be happier with the brilliant service. I dropped in at 4pm needing new walking gear in a hurry, no time to go home to change but due on a walk in the next hour. I was also having sight problems as recently had eye operations & couldn't read labels etc. I asked for help from a staff member who was restocking shelves. Explained my needs and my eye issue and she was brilliant. Within half an hour I had left fully kitted out with new waterproof walking gear, ready for the heavens to open (which they did).

By far the best customer experience I have experienced. The gentleman (Huw) was so patient and informative. I needed a jacket & fleece for a 26 mile walk I was doing that weekend. He was so patient and gave me the best advice. I would not have got through the night had it not have been for his recommendation and expertise. Thank you for all your hard work. You will be pleased to know I successfully completed the 26.2 miles at night!! Thank you once again.

This is probably one of the best hiking/camping shops for clothing and footwear, they sell all the top brands and have a great selection of summer and winter gear. The staff are very knowledgeable and can help with backpack fitting and boot/shoe fitting. The only downside is there's not much in the way of actual camping equipment. There are a minimal amount of backpacks, sleeping bags etc, in store but there online range is much bigger.
