Went all the way into town to bank some cash. Branch was closed for renovations. I had no text email or letter to notify me of the branch closing temporarily. Complete waste of time.There is only one open counter with a human, and this counter is for ?Barclays premier? customers. The rest of us who are not premier account holders are not good enough to deal with a human so we have to cue for a machine. I then became a premier account holder to then find the counter is only open for a few hours in the day, and not the full opening hours of the branch.Been a member of this branch for 21 years. It used to be full of friendly helpful staff with about 10 counters. The cue would always move quickly and everything was dealt with properly. As the years have passed the good staff seem to of left and have been replaced with machines. The staff that are there seem to be trying their best, and seem to be gritting teeth when helping customers using the machines.After my trip into town to find the branch closed, probably to replace more staff with machines, I have decided I am going to move to TSB. I walked in there today to see what the other banks are doing and there were no machines, just a few counters all with human staff.

Visited the Barclays Watford branch yesterday to discuss an account query. The quality of services provided by both Mario and Louisa was both exemplary and highly professional throughout. They listened, focussed and were able to resolve our issues. Would recommend, thank you both.Mr and Mrs Patel

Having struggled to get service in other branches we went into Watford today. The service from Mario was exemplary, he listened, did exactly what we needed, explained everything very carefully, and was polite, friendly and very helpful

I am so disappointed with Barclays. Closing branches, opening hours are terrible and they have put a limit on how much you can pay into the post office. Absolutely disgusting way to treat their customers

No worse than the diabolical standard of service in any bank's branches these days, I would say, otherwise I might have gone for one or two stars! Slow as only one counter staff available, but once at the counter, quick and helpful.

Came in to report my parents passing. No one at counter and just 3 people on the floor, so queued up but people just getting seen as they were going straight upto the staff. I said I was next but they said the person had been waiting when I saw them walk in the door and straight past me. Abysmal service, but at least I know never to transfer to this bank in future.

I bank with many other banks but barclays is by far the best bank. Very advanced with technology and very easy banking. Top class service. all the time.

Went into Watford branch, i saw Alan and Hema who helped me to take block off my card. I speak little english, the fraud dept were also able to get a translator on the same call.Very happy with the service.Best bank and staff.

Popped in to store today and can't express how helpful everyone has been.Due to forgetting some personal details our account got blocked, Jyotika helped resolve the issue. Jyotika worked quickly and couldn't help us enough.While we were in store I planned to book an appointment for a another occasion, Hema stepped in offering us help there and then to save us having to revisit, she was very patient answered with all questions we had and made the experience very pleasant.Thank you!

Served by Hema Kachela at Watford Barclays it was a pleasure to be looked after everything was sorted out even app on our phones she is a credit to barclays more staff like hema needed.
