12 pounds for the delivery and they won?t even bring it to your doorstep. I?m a single mom living on the fourth floor and the delivery guy refused even to help me carry it, he didn?t even wait for me to come downstairs, just drove away leaving me with a huge osb board. I wouldn?t be able to get it to my flat without my neighbours help.

Verry bad. The sign on the front says if you can find a product cheaper locally. Wicks will match the price.This is a lie. I provided a quote for timber locally. The manager refused to honour there word..I am taking them to trading.standards

Impressed with the way Wickes Waltham Cross have got themselves sorted as the COVID lockdown eases. I used the click-and-collect service to order joist hangers and ballast. I got a text to say my order was ready and when I turned up I was directed to a separate click and collect queue, which was great as didn't even have to enter the store! Staff were helpful and my order was processed quickly. The guy outside the entrance was very good at making sure not too many people entered the store at any time as well as dealing with click and collect pick ups. Plus....another big well known DIY store had no sand or ballast, while Wickes appear well stocked with plenty of 'raw materials' available! All in all, good positive experience in these times when we all have to stay safe and alert....well done Wickes Waltham Cross!!

Decent layout and it's generally easy to find what you need. The queueing system doesn't work too well due to the position and layout of the tills, and queues with large flatbed trolleys can interfere with 2 of the commonly used aisles.Selection and stock are usually good. I'm a DIYer so don't use them heavily, but they usually have what I need in stock.Prices are generally reasonable when compared with the mainstream (not trade account) competition.Update 31/12/2022I've used them a couple more times since the first review and it's been quieter in there. My point about the till location and longer queues, especially when customers (probably trade) have flatbed trolleys stacked up still stands as it clogs the whole exit area and tops of the first 2 aisles, however if you're fortunate enough to visit when there aren't 2-3 people in the queue with flatbeds, then you'll have a better shopping and checkout experience.

Not sure why Waltham cross wickes doesn't accept my trade number from a photo snapshot of the email I received but will from the email but all the other wickes do makes me not want to shop their anymore????

The store design and sales team for kitchens are extremely good. Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. A five star experience howeverwe await completion of project work and delivery of items to complete it

Note that they've started using a new delivery company and they won't bring stuff further than your gate now. The helpful delivery that brought stuff round the side of the house was the main reason I used Wickes so I'll have to change suppliers now.Very unhappy customer today. How am I supposed to carry this heavy stuff from my gate??

Absolutely terrible customer service and experience.I bought a toilet seat in the morning and forgot to pick it up after paying for it along with other materials, I left the toilet unfortunately at the checkout till.Came back to ask for it and all I got back from '' manager '' who looked like scruffy and fluffy teenager who just said no I got nothing, can't help you. I mean what in the world is going on when it comes to customer service and experience? And it hurts knowing I've spent over 2k in the last 2 weeks at wickes

It's not the best. Took three attempts to fit a toilet seat as all boxes were mixed up and wrong. Staff found this amusing but I didn't at £2 a litre these days. I've been here a lot of times due to necessity but I really don't rate the hole. The staff don't want to be there and they let you know it. Study hard at school kids or you're headed for Wickes.

Hilmi was superb. Helpful polite and quick at picking my click and collect. Thanks to Hilmi I made this review. There was a young gentleman on the till who was also polite and gave me reassurance my items were on there way which I only waited a few minutes for. Both gentleman are what I class as top employees. I honestly was going to leave a 1 star review due to the first minutes experience which I won't mention as the male colleagues redeemed the experience especially Hilmi.

The nicest most helpful young black guy helped me today at Watham Cross Branch. Lifted my bags of sand from the shelf took me to the checkout and loaded them into my van for me.
