If you?re staying for a short trip the rooms are perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful, they even offered honey and tea when my partner had a sore throat! You get plenty of room and the bed is comfy. Location can get a little noisy but besides that it?s a good stay!

Decent hotel. Bar and food served till late. Little bit on the expensive side. Lifts available to floors. Room was clean. Basic needs cattered for.

Right next to the local drag racing strip. Great facilities and service but noisy as hell. Bed was waaaay too hard too. Checked out and didn't stay the expected 2nd night.

Hotel was ok , staff were nice . Bathroom was poor , extractor fan never worked , informed staff on first day and was never fixed , sink was cracked .
After paying for four nights but only used three , spent money in the hotel.
Came home to the welcome of three parking tickets ! And yes the car was registered immediately on arrival for four days.
Tried contacting hotel and guess what , it?s a chargeable number .

Staff were lovely and helpful. Hotel covered in scaffolding for a long time now. Even had some light building material fly in the window when open. No air-conditioning though room did have a fan but wasn't sufficent in July. Couldn't leave window open for traffic noise either but on the flipside of that; the location was convenient to motorway etc. Some minor little items left under bed so not thoroughly cleaned beforehand.
Oh and very importantly make sure they ask you for your car registration when you check in. Not only did we get 3 parking fines (60 pounds each)while staying there (which the hotel does not handle), but the car hire company Green Motion charged our credit card 3 x 68 pounds for receiving the email regarding the fines!! So make sure they get your reg number at reception.

USB ports don?t work in the room. No room cleaning unless you book in for a week then they will clean the room once!

Our walk from the nearest train station made us feel a little uneasy. So I would recommend a taxi. The hotel reception was very friendly when checking in but the night staff were much less so, almost intimidating. The rooms are very basic, but have what you need. The road noise is constant being so close to the main road. The clothes hook fell off the back of the bathroom door. Morning staff again very friendly on check out

For a very basic hotel room I?d recommend it. The price wasn?t too bad, I got a really spacious room with a comfy bed and tv. The bathroom was basic but did the job (shower&bath). The only downside was the noise of the traffic, so I?d recommend choosing a room beforehand on the other side of the building. The staff were all pretty nice too. You get what you pay for really but for a quick night?s stay I?d recommend!

It's hard to rate this accurately. Firstly its a 2 star hotel so one can be too judgemental. Rooms are a decent size comfy enough bed. Noisy if you're on motorway side. No aircon which was horrendous to deal with in the heat of June/July 2025. Towels good size. Bring your own Toiletries, the supplied ones are not worth speaking of. Small hanging area for clothes. No drawers fridge hairdryer. There is a kettle and tea/coffee & TV.
There is a small restaurant on site which is absolutely fine and a decent bar, plus vending machines with snacks. Another restaurant attached to hotel but separate is absolutely lovely, medditterean. Lovely park close by and London is only a short train journey away (3 stations a small taxi fare away). I just want to shout out to the staff though as they are what makes this place fine to stay at. They are exceptionally accommodating especially Karina ?

Great stay at the Cheshunt Travelodge. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were very polite and friendly! Especially being provided with drinks and pizza service at 3am which was very efficient. Definitely would stay again and would highly recommend.

It's a good budget hotel apart from one major thing....if you get a room on the A10 side it is NOISY! It sounded like being next to a racetrack most of the evening. They desperately need to put in better windows on this side of the hotel. There is currently scaffolding up so maybe they will be doing this....
But for what we paid, the room was nice and the service was good. Free parking is a bonus too.
