I visited this evening with 8 friends. Absolutely love this pub, staff are so friendly, there were a lot of us having dinner, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and a good choice, we live in the next town and I wish it was my local !! The band, The attention Seekers were playing in The Coachhouse alongside the pub, great pub, great food, great staff and fantastic boogie afterwards, couldn?t praise you more. Thank you
Parking: Parking near the pub can be tricky as it?s on a residential road, we parked on main road and walked up. No problem.

It's my 3rd closest pub, but I think it will probably become my local! Friendly crowd, cozy feel, happy smiley people.
Might sound weird, but you can tell a lot by the gents loos of a pub, if they smell nice, are clean and well lit, it shows that the owners take pride in their establishment, and the gents loos in this place are all of those things ?
Not tried the food yet, but the neighbouring table ordered some delicious looking scran, and I've only heard good things!

Fantastic pub with really good pub-food menu, all produced from scratch. Always has a good vibe and a favourite of the locals in Tring. Authentic decor just adds to the overall experience. Great outdoor area for sunny days.

Lunchtime visit. Good quality food, reasonably priced and nicely presented. This planned visit was a recommendation from a Tring resident and we will return again for Sunday roast.

Today was my third visit - always for the excellent beer. What a fantastic pub! The staff are brilliant. The food looks delicious, and the menu looks reasonably priced.
On my first visit, following a 7 mile ramble through the Chilterns, I enjoyed several beers but left my bag behind. A quick phone call ensured the bag was safe, and 3 months later, I went back for several more beers and to collect my bag.
Today, after another 7 mile ramble, we were back. Same excellent staff, with a couple of new faces. I'll be back in 3 months!
