I went the Tring store to buy myself a bottle of wine this evening and as my son had pointed at the wine I was choosing I was not only refused to be served when I went to the check out a very loud alarm went off and 3 members of staff all came over. When I explained we had been discussing wine whilst in the aisle I was ignored and whilst one member of staff took the wine off me the other two stood there as if I was a criminal! This was upsetting and embarrassing as I was made to feel like I'd done something wrong. I totally understand that buying alcohol for minors needs policing but when I am buying one bottle of very nice Rose to be accused of buying it for my son was a total over reaction. He wasn't even with me when I went to the till as his sister and him wanted to head back to the car. I won't be using the store again.

I will not be coming this tesco ever again. The manned checkouts either have only one or two people working on them, or they are completely empty, forcing their customers to use self-service, made even more absurd by the fact they clearly have enough workers, but are all too lazy to do their jobs and would rather make the customers do it for them. They also started making the customers use one of the manned checkouts as a self-service machine, rather than actually getting one of their own workers to use it and actually serve people. What is the point of employing people if none of them can be bothered to even do their jobs? This location is going to be shut down eventually, unless they get their act together.

Went to Tescos this morning at 7.30am. Did a fairly big shop. Spent £110. No manned checkouts. Had to go to self checkout. Tescos, You are a disgrace. You should have at least one checkout operator in place. When you do a large shop you shouldn't have to then do the scanning yourself. I can't wait for Lidl to open. We have been a customer since you opened but it has gone downhill. We will move to Lidls in the hope they will offer a better service to customers. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

Manager Nubla was incredibly rude whilst I was in store on B H Monday. 3 customers queuing on the only till open with an assistant. Refused to let staff open another till as 'we' the customer have to get used to self serve tills as is the way shopping is going in the modern world!!!
SO RUDE!!! You can't phone anyone to complain either.

Myself and two friends went in to buy some beer and pizzas the other night. Whilst checking out, one of my friends saw someone he works with and went to say hello before he left. Around this time, staff working at the self check out suddenly wanted this person to produce their ID, even though they were not in out party , merely a work associate who coincidentally was in the store at the same time. The staff then did not let us check out and required the person we met to drive 25 minutes home and back to get his ID to let us check out, while my party waited and never got a full explanation why we were required to wait. An absolute mess, full of rude staff who clearly didn?t know the intracacies of an absurd ?rule?. Poor service.

i went here to buy some snacks to take on my journey to my holiday destination when me and my friend were looking at some confectionery and soda pop a worker was unpacking full fat coke cans and a pack of 4 cans popped out of the crate and hit me and the leg and left me with a hefty bruise

Ok for a small shop but don?t bother with self scanning you have to join the long queue like a normal shop !!?
