Popped in the weekend for lunch wile I was there Someone?s dog pooed on the floor at the bar the manager then cleaned it up with he?s bear hands then immediately started serving food without washing he?s hands, I was shocked i then confronted the manager about it and he just walked off, absolutely disgusting I?ve all ready reported it to the food hygiene agency

We had a booking of 9 for the Sunday roast on the 24th March and WOW the food service was Horrific! If I could give less stars I would.Everything was definitely from frozen. Which is fine if cooked to a level of standards.I ordered the lamb roast - meat was chewy and full of fat - inedible! potatoes were stuck in your throat kind of cold and definitely frozen as for the peas and carrots- again frozen and under cooked.Plus when ordering the ultimate sunday roast which states you get more selection of meat ended up just being more frozen potatoes and undercooked veg.The chicken that was served I wouldn?t have given that to my dog!One of the children ordered pancakes and bananas for dessert that came as less than half a cut up pancake and an under ripped banana assuming that the adults would not notice. Very cheeky and disrespectful to think they could serve such poor food to children and it go unnoticed.Whats even more shocking is Once we made the manager aware of the quality of food he was quiet passive aggressive. He was unprofessional and embarrassing to even communicate with.We agreed to pay half the bill and that was us being polite as it was a lot of food the kitchen had cooked poorly that led to alot of waste!Days later after dealing with this issue on site my family have received an embarrassing again passive aggressive email from management expressing that ?our family are no longer welcome? with no name as to who had sent the email.We called the restaurant as we are offended and shocked as to how we have been blamed for the quality of food and service we received - he stated he was the restaurant manager but would not say his name and was being rude as so why we were calling. No people skills what so everConsidering the job role!We still have no answer as to who sent the email? Very concerning for the business owner if this is the type of staff you would like as the face of your restaurant.We will not be returning again as not only was the food shockingly poor but the manager here is clearly unable to comprehend customers feedback and any criticism or even manage to handle any problems that arise.

The staff were very friendly.The food was absolutely shocking. We had smoothered chicken, which had literally 1/4 of a teaspoon of BBQ sauce on and the cheese was a cheap slice of cheese melted on top.We had breakfast the next day. The continental breakfast was ok and a very good selection but the cooked breakfast was awful. The bacon had been pre cooked in the oven and was hard, the grilled tomato was cold and not cooked, the beans were luke warm and the mushrooms were dry and cold. Don't get me wrong, you go there to keep the cost down but there should still be a standard to meet.

Booked for mother's day. Left in entrance queue for half hour. Finally advised once you got a table it would be 90 minutes wait for food. We left as we had a child with us and we had MacDonalds for mother's day. Lots of others left. One table left saying they'd been waiting 2 hours for food. They need to review the booking system time slots on busy days, and get people moving off tables. I felt sorry for the staff.Remember to put your car registration in the iPad in the entrance or you'll get charged.

Food average, could not cook steak to perfection, asked for rare, got medium to well done. Kids meals very small, the sausages with the sausage and mash did not even taste like sasauges/pork seemed more like chicken, or so cheap that they are not 100% pork. Considering I have been here loads in the past and had great experience, this was a huge let down.I did also attended Christmas dinner here in 2021 and was a disaster! Dinner served with ice cold veg, like they had only been defrosted from the freezer and put onto my plate.Yet another bad experience on mother's day in 2024, late to being seated by over an hour and then waited an hour for starters then more than an hour for mains, ordered more drinks and took 40mins to receive. Looked like will be avoiding this place from now on in the future, not what I would expect from a beefeater.. seems to be a business going down hill!!

Well, it was _supposed_ to be a mother's day treat for my mum and mother-in-law... A 40 minute wait for the table to come free, a further hour for the starter to arrive and another 40 minutes for the main course, which was overcooked and in general felt like it had sat around for far too long, roast potatoes with the texture of mash for example. We were offered no explanation at all for why we and many, many others had to wait; it just smacks of poor planning and poor staffing levels, considering all the tables were probably booked ahead for several weeks. We're just hoping we don't get fined for overstaying the 3 hours free parking, through no fault of our own. Terrible. Going somewhere, anywhere, else next time we want a nice meal out.

After visiting the crows nest the only positive I can bring up would be the service from a lady called Beverly who was very friendly and professional with happy quick service. The food was unfortunately overpriced and to a low quality, upon asking for sauce as a condiment to the food I?d paid for I was informed it cost 99p for the below ramekin. Not enough to even cover any of the food to a satisfactory level. I would not recommend unfortunately.

The restaurant is nice.The food is good - small improvements would help. For example, very few vegetables on the roasted vegetable flatbread skewer. Ribs were very good.The service is one of those where you feel sorry for the staff because they are clearly under-staffed and up against it. Unfortunately that does rub-off on the experience a little.

Booked online, arrived to be left at the entrance for 10 minutes before being placed at a table. Not attended to for another 15 minutes. Came over was very rushy to get our orders in. But we hadn?t even been given drinks menu. Drinks took a while to come then took ages to get food orders.Food was made and sat under the hot light whilst the rest of the order was cooked, some came over I asked the things which were sat to have freshly made, they threw it in the fryer and cooked it again returning it within a couple of minutes. Overcooking the calamari and leaving it drenched in oil. Fish was battered with the skin on and the batter was wet and oily not crispy, not fluffy and didn?t taste of much.Half of the chips were big half of them small, the larger ones were cold and hard in the middle.We hardly got checked on, people arrived, ate, paid and left before we had our food given over to us. All in all it took 2 hours for 3 of us to be served have a drink each and a main meal. The management was terrible in the place with tables being left uncleared and people left at the entrance waiting to be served. At one point every staff member had disappeared and I had to find a young girl to find our server, she was left alone at the bar and was already rushed off her feet. We would have had more drinks and would have left a tip for good service but we couldn?t because there wasn?t any service really.Highly dissatisfied as my Mother suggested we go out and would be good as she usually never has any issues. She agreed too, that today was awful.
