The Range in Stevenage itself is a great store with lots to browse and buy, it?s well priced and offers plenty to purchase ? it would be perfect for families like ours with young children. However, the parking restrictions are unreasonable.
Shoppers are limited to just 90 minutes, which is nowhere near enough time if you want to look around The Range, and Wickes properly, make purchases, and then grab something to eat (we didn?t even make it as far as KFC before running out of time).
As genuine paying customers who bought a number of items, and genuinely were shopping for that time we were shocked to then receive a large parking fine. It feels unfair and off-putting, especially when other retail parks nearby allow three hours (and only reduce to 90 minutes on match days - understandable)
The store is great, but unless the parking policy changes, I would be clock watching and not fully able to fully enjoy shopping here without the stress of rushing around or risking a fine. The store is large, has a mezzanine floor and also includes garden centre. I?m utterly disappointed the be hit with a fine for browsing and shopping as a normal family of four.

Great store to vist its got loads of ideas for your home,
Lets just say its like aladdins cave,
Most people go in to window shop but always come out with some sort of goods,
And the prices are fantastic,
And remember Wilkinsons Shops?
The range i think bought them as they have so many cheap Wiko products,
Its an amazing store

Staff appeared irritated by having to help me find an item, was keen to continue their conversation, including disrespectful comments about a colleagues child with additional needs at full volume whilst I stood in the isle with them.

The RANGE shops are fantastic shops with miscellaneous products. Only downfall of Stevenage one is that not all products have price tags on them. Or when shopping rubbish bin there were missing lids and no price tags. It made difficult to choose one. So I ended up purchasing from different shop. They clearly missing out on good management and sometimes part of the store are in great mess you can't even reach shelf with products. On my recent visit there was no price tag for soil which they placed outdoor just before you enter shop. So again it restricted me from buying it and I did not even bother to ask cashier as he was busy with customers.

Toy stock is weak. Never find any products I like any more. Halloween stock gets weaker every year too.
