Beyond impressed with my son?s experience today , being 2.5yrs old and possibly autistic & having tried many places claiming to be autistic child friendly , they very much were not and just want your money. This place is a little Gem! I didn?t catch the lovely ladies name but you were fantastic with Elliott ! Quickest and most painless haircut he?s had to date!
Also very pleased to know that when we rebook we will have the same lady , so my son gets adjusted to haircuts with her, it?s now a lovely new routine I now don?t dread to do!

I have been taking my granddaughter Grace to these lovely ladies for over 4 years now. Grace absolutely loves them especially Lisa who has mostly cut her hair. From the moment we walk in to when we leave the whole team make you feel welcome but most of all they have so much time for Grace and make her feel special every time we go. So thank you ladies you are all amazing and see you again soon. ??

My son has ASD and really struggles to have his haircut and the whole experience can be incredibly uncomfortable and upsetting for him.We visited Shades after hearing about their sensory room. The room was quiet and calm, there weren't any other noises, everything had been well thought about, even down to the type of clippers that were used so that they didn't vibrate as much or make as much noise. I didn't catch the ladies name that cut my son's hair but she made him feel really welcome, continually asked him if he felt comfortable and spoke to him in a way that he was happy to answer her questions - something he wouldn't usually do with a stranger. He had a completely different experience to anything he has experienced before and it made such a big difference! Will absolutely return for another hair cut

Went here for a manicure today, Julia did amazing French manicure looked so natural.
I was that pleased I asked could they squeeze me in for a wash/cut & blow dry. Which Julia did a fabulous job, I was so happy!
I felt like like a new woman, I really love this salon Lisa, Nikki & Julia & the team are so lovely.
So nice & friendly I feel so comfortable here, the other clients I have there are friendly too.
Highly recommend this salon for really genuine ladies who work to make you feel great.

My partner came in yesterday and had her hair done by a lovely lady named julia. She was over the moon when she came home. Its the first time ive ever seen her this happy with her hair so thank you julia!

Experience was excellent, my most recent visit, Sam did my acrylic nails with gel nail polish over the top. Very professional, very friendly and honestly a lovely place to relax and enjoy a bit of pamper! Can't wait to go again and have them done. Had gel nail varnish put on, within a few days one nail started lifting up, I think this is because the lady didn?t paint all the nail, she left a gap. I informed them the nail varnish was lifting up I was told they would redo that nail which they did but the next day 2 different nails lifted up and 1 nail varnish came of completely. I said I wasn?t happy and wanted them removed. I was asked to come in the following day which I did. I said to the lady I had only had the gel varnish on for 8 days and after 3 days they were started to come off. She just said oh. And then I was charged £15 to have them removed even though they weren?t painted correctly. £50 down the drain. I won?t be going back there.(This was the only picture I took but you can see it lifting up and that it wasn?t painted to the bottom of my nail)To the below comment. The nails didn?t come off from the top for my nails being short they came up from the back of my nails where you didn?t paint them low enough.You did one nail. Then I complained a few days later that one had completely come off and the others were starting to come off, why would I not complain and ask for them to be taken off when 3 were ripped at the back and one nail was completely off!!! This should of been done for free due to being done incorrectly.Yes I paid £30 for them to be painted and £15 to be taking off when they weren?t done well in the first place!!!Doesn?t matter when I had them done I chose to leave a review now to warn people not to use you to have your nails done.Me and my girls will not be returning.
