Very disappointed today. Firstly we didn?t eat so only one star because of that.
So I called the pub at 4pm to ask if they have any tables I was told by the staff member that there empty and it?s ok to just come so 3 adults 4 children walked up there 10/15 minute walk. To then arrive to be told ?you didn?t say how many on the phone?
This was not asked either. And 7 is too much for the chef to do as there was only one. Gob smacked this was even an issue and not to do with space. I can?t imagine when they have more than 7 guessed. Wanting food. Went and brought a pizza for the children and sat and ate on the bench returning after about an hour to grab a drink no fualt on drinks to then ask if they can cope with 3 to be told yer there another women there to help run it out so was then confused to if it was the chef that couldn?t cook or the girl behind the bar that couldn?t be bothered to carry it out ???? either way pub lost at least £150 on meals. Won?t return

Mothers day completely ruined , 7 meals were ordered only 5 arrived ,after asking the staff where the remaining dinners were we were told the ticket for 2 meals was still in the till and the 3rd was ordered as a side dish ,that was a mistake by staff . After complaining about service the cook was rude as was her daughter who serves in the bar ,finally I was told that I would get the2 meals for free as it was their error but the cook wasn't happy about that and phoned the manager who said yes as it was the pubs mistake so we finally received our food 1 hour 45 minutes after everyone else which was slammed down on the table along with the cutlery

Deafening loud music disturbing the elderly residents of the Supported Housing Scheme opposite. No consideration for us at all. Music is meant to stop at 11 but goes on much later. People hanging about outside should think about how it affects the surrounding residential properties.

Love this pub, the landlady is so helpful and always remembers my order, a happy smile, and the best value food... and quality prevails....
