Gary is the only reason on not giving 0 stars. Ordered a matress and was told delivery tuesday, ive sat in waiting all day to call at 4 30 as still not heard anything to be told my new matress wasnt even coming as they no longer had it.
The lady I eventually got hold of on the phone has chased to find one in other branches and has apparently resent it for in 2 days time. So now I am without a bed for 2 days, will of lost 2 days earnings and im disabled with no where to sleep. Thank you so much. Im so angry.

I've bought 3 mattresses from this shop in the past 3 months had a great experience with all 3, one of the mattresses was delivered damaged, mattressman got it collected and delivered new one really quickly, manager in shop is really helpful and no pushy sales just genuine advice

Avoid Silentnight & Mattressman UK!
Paid nearly £400 for a Silentnight mattress from Mattressman. Within 1 year the springs collapsed, foam sank, and it caused me severe back pain. Tried to claim on the 5-year warranty, but Mattressman refused over a couple of tiny water stains. Staff were rude, unhelpful, and only interested in rejecting claims.
?? Poor quality. Cheap materials. Zero customer care.
?? Don?t waste your money ? avoid Silentnight and Mattressman!

Met at the door by Gary. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Listened to our requirement for a mid range bed for our spare room and advised us brilliantly. Very impressed with service and the products.

If only 6 stars existed!
On Saturday we made the 1.5 hour drive over to the Stevenage Mattressman store, and I can honestly say it was 100% worth the journey. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly, and then we met Gary ? and he completely transformed the experience.
Gary is brilliant. He?s super friendly, genuinely approachable, and has an incredible depth of knowledge about all the mattresses in the store. What impressed us most was how he really listened to what we needed. There was no pushiness, no hard sell, and certainly no attempt to upsell us into something more expensive than we wanted. Instead, Gary guided us through the different options, explained the benefits of each one in clear, easy-to-understand terms, and encouraged us to take our time trying them out until we were completely happy.
It?s rare these days to find service that feels both professional and personal, but Gary struck the perfect balance. He made the whole process relaxed and enjoyable, and at the end of it we felt confident that we?d chosen the right mattress for us. Honestly, driving a 150-mile round trip could have felt like a gamble, but thanks to Gary it turned out to be one of the best decisions we?ve made.
If you?re thinking of getting a new mattress and want genuine expert advice without any of the sales pressure, I can?t recommend Mattressman Stevenage enough ? and if you?re lucky enough to meet Gary, you?ll see why this store deserves five stars.

If all you need to do is buy a mattress and you?re not worried about customer service then go ahead. Had an issue with our 2 month old mattress, fobbed off to the manufacturer as it was already showing signs of sinking. No offer of help whatsoever from mattressman. Terrible service. If you want a new mattress that sags after 8 weeks, this is the place to shop.

Snuggle Beds Olivia Double Bed Light Grey.
After having an awful experience buying a bed frame through B&Q I decided to visit the Stevenage store on the hope of having a better outcome. I had purchased mattresses from Mattressman before and was very impressed, I had seen an Ottoman bed online and wanted to see it before buying and was happy to find it in store.
The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Stephen was so helpful and friendly and within no time at all the bed was on order and delivered within a few days. The bed arrived in perfect condition and took a few hours to check all parts and put together. I had one question re the closing of the ottoman and got through to someone within seconds who answered my question and he could not of been more helpful! The bed is exactly what I was looking for, very well made and great value for money. I could not recommend Mattressman enough and will definitely be using them again in the future.

Shocking Experience ? Mattress with Bedbugs Still in My Home
I received a mattress from Mattressman infested with bedbugs ? black stains and signs were visible the moment we opened the packaging. We didn?t even use it.
What?s worse? It?s still in my house. They haven?t arranged collection, despite multiple messages. It?s a serious health risk, especially with young children at home.
This is beyond unacceptable. Mattressman clearly has no control over hygiene, quality, or customer care. If this causes any infestation, it?s on them.
I would never recommend this company. Avoid.

Went in on a Sat and was met by a really enthusiastic young man that really knew his stuff. He was very knowledgeable about the different mattresses in the Hypnos range. Highly recommend.

Last week we visited the Matressman store in Stevenage. Parisa showed us the matresses we were interested in, then left us to try some. Parisa was very helpful and knowledgeable when we asked specific questions and at no time did we feel pressured into making a decision. Eventually we did decide on a Reylon silk sensation king size mattress with the luxury of having the 60day exchange policy. There are a couple of other mattresses which we also liked if we should need to change. Parisa arranged for delivery within a couple of days too which we were delighted with.
We highly recommend the Stevenage Matressman store for a hassle free experience. Thank you Parisa for all your help.

I've purchased a firm mattress in September. We've tried it for 30 days and replaced with even firmer one through the 60 day's trial. It's the very first time that I've spent £500 + on a mattress. Unfortunately, it's so bad quality that I will need another one very soon. I did spend a bit more time in bed, as I've only just given birth but hey! A £150 mattress from eBay lasted longer than this one ? I'm not a plus size what so ever... Total waste of money. I like it for a couple of weeks (tops). After that it almost fell apart. And Yes, I followed all of the tips around rotating it often etc.
