Iv been using this cafe nearly a year, probably go in there two or three times a week and we meet up with other friends on Thursdays I found the staff very friendly very helpful, the food is excellent. The coffee is fantastic, The boss is football mad, and we have great crack even though I don?t support his team,!! There is a good atmosphere in this cafe. I would recommend anyone in the town centre Stevenage, to pop into the Mad Hatter ,, Just recently they?ve been doing cheesecake?s My favourite is the strawberry, but there are other brands also.I have been reading the reviews, there is only one bad review, and that person to me is very vindictive to the staff and the cafe. Me and my good friend Jeff always feel welcome there .The staff are always friendly helpful and talkative. I would recommend this. Coffee shop, 100%..

The staff appear to be very young, inexperienced, and extremely unprofessional. Their behaviour was rude and dismissive, and they clearly lacked basic customer service skills. It felt like they had no interest in helping guests or maintaining a welcoming environment. Honestly, it was a disappointing experience. I do not recommend this place at all, especially if you're seek courteous or competent service!
To respond to your let?s be clear ? I simply asked to use your service before sitting and eating. In response, I was treated rudely and dismissed. Thankfully, I found another café just around the corner where I was welcomed and served one of the best lunches I've ever had in Stevenage.
As for your ?let?s be clear? tone: having your staff say ?You better not lie to me? is both unprofessional and inappropriate. That kind of language from staff is unacceptable in any customer-facing environment.
P.S. Fingers should not be going into plates while serving food at the table ? basic hygiene and customer respect matter.

Really good food, asked for no cranberry in my bacon and brie panini and they didn?t put it in my partners full english was lovely too. would defo recommend

Came here with my friend today for some lunch. Food was lovely sausage sandwhich was lush. The whole cafe has a great relaxing atmosphere. We both will be coming back!
