Aftersale compensation is appoling. After purchasing a quite expensive matress which only was used half of the time in two years, and against reassurance/opinion given by the factory manufacturer itself, the store unilaterly rejected compensation for the mattress collapsing on the sides simply by sitting on it. Obviously no one can get to lay on a bed without sitting on it first, well that's what doesn't seem right for this store, for their product matresses sold. Note this didn't come with any warning from them nor written on the matress to surprise you in time. Could suspect this is cheating. So my honest advice please do not buy from this store.

So far so good?we?ve been looking for the right sofa for a long time and believe we?ve found it. Thank you Robert for taking the time to answer all of our questions and quoting such a good price that we were able to add a recliner to the order. I would recommend Robert and the Stevenage store to anyone looking for their next sofa.

Cyrill was very polite and helpful. He answered all questions that we had asked. We look forward to getting our new sofa and chairs. We would not hesitate to shop at Furniture Village in the future as well and will recomend to family and friends.

Purchased the Aquila Extending dining table and 6 swivel chairs (AQULFSET4-001) in September 2021 for £2500. The back of one of the chairs has come away and no longer supports the back of the person sitting on it. Contacted Furniture village and they have claimed this (the back of the chair coming off!) is classed as general wear and tear and that the onus falls on the customer to provide evidence that a manufacturing fault exists with their product by paying for an independent report from a nationally recognised technician company. If the back of the chair coming away doesn't qualify for their complimentary guarantee then what does? Appalling customer service.

Nicole Williams, a brilliant Sales Consultant, who puts you at ease and makes the experience of buying lasting furniture exciting. She is knowledgable and is attentive. I recommend anyone to go to Nicole at furniture village. She is efficient and extremely detail orientated and truly cares about the furniture you wish to buy for your home.

Horrendous ordered bed in Dec 2021. Delivered damaged, reordered 2nd bed damaged and still waiting for this to be resolved some 17 months later despite intervention by the manager Wayne. Terrible customer care.

Cyril was fantastic, very knowledgeable, made sure we had the best mattress for us, and expedited delivery to ensure we had it before an operation date which was much appreciated. Delivery was also very professional and friendly, can?t fault any part of the service. Pleasure to do business with!

Absolutely shocking. Placed an order over £3500 - wrong material delivered in our footstool, as well as the wrong leg colour in all 3 pieces. Mistakes happen but it?s been 6 months of calls back and forth and still no resolution. You walk into a store and they go above and beyond to close the sale and then couldn?t care less. The resolution team don?t want to hear and just talk over you. I hope this review saves someone from buying from Furniture Village; my experience of their resolution team has been absolutely awful, it?s taken so much of my time and I?ve found them really unhelpful and rude on numerous occasions.The £2k sofa cushions are really uncomfortable (they didn?t have the traditional ones we picked in the show room) which is a personal opinion, but they won?t let me purchase the scatterback cushions for our suite separately as apparently ?they?re not sold separately?? Moreover, I still don?t have what I ordered in the first place, and there?s been no acknowledgment of any error on their part.Please don?t reply to this asking me to send you an email as you?ll only ignore it like the rest of the emails I?ve sent over the last 6 months.

Peeling leather on my new leather sofa after 8 months of purchase. After sale Customer services was terrible and refused to repair it. I paid extra for the Guardsman insurance but they blamed the company and said it was a regular occurance. Leaves me with damaged Furniture. Please stay away from this company.

A really good selection of high quality furniture from leading brand names that is very well displayed in their large showroom. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful without being at all pushy and leave you to browse yourself having introduced themselves and offered assistance. Much better service (and quality of items) than a certain 'destination store' that we used to use but which has now significantly deteriorated. Highly recommended.
