Absolutely disgusting iced Americano. Made with hot water then half filled with tap water. Ice cubes melted before arriving at our table. This is NOT how you make iced coffee. Yuck. And £6 for them?

Just stopped briefly for an American with an extra shot. Good coffee and generous size cup. Food looked good tho I didn't eat so haven't rated it.

Sorry to say since the regular staff have gone it's not the same. I'm not sure if they have changed the coffee but it's not as good. Also I was told that the prices are going up soon.

Have visited Esquires for several years for coffee as staff were very friendly and offered a great service.Since a recent change in management (may 2023) mainly new staff and the service has deteriorated often getting the order/pricing wrong and the service is much slower than previously.I questioned a sudden price increase and the staff member just said the cost on display was wrong and walked off with no attempt to justification the discrepancy or apologise.The Loylap app gives a history of transactions which confirms the price has increased within last few days.

It was ok but the price is not match the quality and was not very filling the place was very busy aswell but actually a nice and atmosphere.

I rarely come to Stevenage but when I do Esquires still make the best coffee has a nice friendly atmosphere and the lady that served me was lovely to makes a difference when served with a smile but I always ask how they are to I love people it works both ways. Was a big kid for the day and had a delicious lemon doughnut ?? Enjoy

Slow service. The halloumi flatbread needed to be heated in the panini machine, not in the microwave resulting in rock hard edges and cold chunks of halloumi inside.
