Placed an online order to click and collect with this store as my local had no stock , drove 40 minutes to collect this item to be told the items not available as they have sold out .
Spoke to a staff member who explained click and collect items are still on the shop floor and can be sold / collected by members of the public even once a customer has already paid for a click and collect service.

Place is an absolute jumble sale, no trolleys available for customers because they are all dumped on the shop floor piled high with discarded stock. Place is a nightmare to navigate because all the aisles are blocked with rubbish, impossible if you have a pram or wheelchair.

I have always been a huge fan of Dunelm mill but the service is pathetic at the moment. If you order by Click and collect the website says, Available after 2 hours. DO NOT BE FOOLED! This doesn't mean that you can collect it two hours later. This means that they will take their own sweet time to get the product to store which could take a lifetime, you just can't collect it BEFORE two hours! Utterly pointless!!! On top of this, Stevenage store is completely shambolic inside, they never answer the phone and they are incapable of dealing with the smallest query. Online customer service can't help if you bought a product in store so you are left dealing with the incompetents.
I have spent a fortune in Dunelm over the years as I renovate and dress properties but this is my last time. I am cancelling all my orders and won't darken their door again. LEARN TO ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!

I went in to see about made to measure blinds. I was told I needed an appointment to measure before I could order so I booked one. Earliest available was 2 weeks wait. Not great but took it anyway. Had appointment confirmation with 1 hour a lot. Waited and waited and nobody showed up. Next day I go into store as no phone number to complains and am told I?m second person to have that issue as the fitter was double booked with another store. Told they will get back to me with another date. 4 days later still nothing. Really not good enough, how long are people expected to wait?!!! Someone not showing up to an appointment should make it a priority. And communication should have happened that day. Not just leave people waiting indefinitely. I?ve had to go elsewhere now

it's OK but no staff on first floor the day we visited and lift was out of order. We looked everywhere for help and couldnt fund anyone so we left with nothing on this occasion.

Seems an ok Dunelm however we went there to collect a delivery and was waiting for quite some time. Layout of the place is good and very identifiable.
