I always feel like going into a furniture store is like falling into shark infested waters. As soon as you go in the door of any sofa store, everyone looks up and they start circling, with pens and ipads at the ready. Today, we were left alone, but Sarah introduced herself and said give me a shout if you need anything. Really did leave us alone too, but noticed what style of sofa we were looking at and directed us to the ones we had missed. After we had narrowed it down, she offered us a cup of quite decent coffee, which was greatly appreciated. Once we got down to the final two, she did step in to help with measurements, alternatives and options. Even though I've worked in sales, Sarah never made it feel like we were being sold to or pressured and she was very good at explaining everything. Thoroughly recommended!

Lived here many years, this is first visit. Store well laid out lovely items ,something for everyone. I would reccomend, however be mindful of your budget. Having nice furniture might turn your head to "how much" you spend. Nevertheless I would definitely shop here.

They were supposed to deliver a sofa I purchased on Sofology. The delivery did not take place because of a misunderstanding with the delivery guys. This is fair enough and it's understandable.The reason for the bad review is that I got a call from the delivery team manager while I was on a different call to try and resolve the issue above; she left a voicemail stating her name and requesting a call back on a specific number. I called her back almost immediately on the number she provided but the operator I got to speak with said they were unable to transfer calls. I asked this person to please pass a message to the person that called me and she said that would take up to 4 hours.I was then asked for my order reference number; I provided the operator with my Sofology order number (the only one I was ever given) and she said that they are unable to help with any Sofology orders.While I do accept that sometimes things can go wrong and delivery may not be successful, I find it absolutely ridiculous to request a call back on a main switchboard number that cannot transfer calls or provide any help with deliveries that the company is in charge of.

Store has good layout and knowledgeable staff that are not pushy. Purchased my last 4 sofa's from DFS and have been happy with quality.

Nicely laid out with some nice sofas & other items of furniture that complement the set up.Salesman don't pressurise you & allow you to browse at your leisure.

We visited twice and staff seemed uninterested in showing us what they have in stock, shen we explained what we were looking for. We really wanted to buy a good sofa-bed and on two occasions, we were just told to look around and find something among many sofas on display. With this lack of customer service we were left with many questions, but nobody to hand. We found that unhelpful,

Didn't buy anything but had a good look and lots of sitting down.DFS had winter extra sale on, couldn't see any difference compared to other DFS sales.Lots of staff, about 10, on hand to help, 2 asked if there was anything they could do but didn't bug you.Surprisingly lots of good choices and prices were better than other stores close by. Will be returning this week to do more sitting.

Would never order from DFS again. Ordered 3 sofas/footstool early Summer, delivery time was as expected, but order was incomplete. Admission by store staff at the time of delivery that the error was their doing. Was advised by Senior Staff that we would have the replacements within 4 weeks. We waited 8 weeks after chasing Customer Services several times. Fitter arrived but with only one third of the replacement order. Customer Services have now advised that the remaining part of our order will not be delivered until the end of January 2023! Very poor Customer Service.

A spacious furniture discount store with a wide variety of sofas, suites and accessories.Friendly helpful and informative staff member assisted us and answered our questions. Plenty of parking adjacent to the store.

Didn't purchase from here direct but popped in to get some face to face help with a separate DFS issue relating to an online order that was going round in circles. Ellie on the shopfloor, and Assistant Manager Ali, were both brilliant and managed to get things resolved within a couple of hours. Get them in charge of wider CX for DFS, it's how it should be done. Thanks
