Poor service, lack of care, painful? the list of negative words i could use to describe trying to buy anything from this branch is endless.
5 visits to buy a fridge freezer? and then another visit to buy a £15 ethernet cable only to wait 5 minutes for someone to actually attend a checkout so i can pay. Mindblowing - do you want money? I try to spend it with you, but you make it so incredibly difficult to do so. While I'm waiting for someone to attend the checkout on this latest occasion, there are no less than 4 members of staff standing around by the phones, with only one seeming to actually be doing anything.
The member of staff who finally decided to attend the tills reveals when questioned on who?s the store manager, that he is ?A? manager. When i expressed my frustrations with how poorly the store operated, he didnt care - i said ive been waiting a few minutes and he said ?really, a few minutes?? Almost sarcastically. I said yes and i took the time to take a picture of 4 of you standing around while i waited. He replied, almost aggressively, ?well do you know what we were doing?? - fantastic customer service.
I dont care what you were doing, i want to be served. I dont want to waste MY time while i wait for YOU to take my money. I want to get what i want, pay and leave, not stand around until its convenient for you. He also revealed that the store doesnt have dedicated cashier staff - which is absolutely mind blowing when you can barely get anyone to serve you when you want to buy a big ticket item like the fridge freezer ordeal i endured for weeks.
Get a grip. Get some people on the tills (at least one) pay attention to your customers and get a better attitude. As it stands, the store is a joke, it?s almost a form of punishment visiting.
To the gent who served me, alleged manager (asian chap) how about take a customers complaint and clear frustration to do better, apologise, and aim to resolve issues. Take it onboard, rather than be dismissive and uncaring, thats not what a real manager does. With people like him managing, its understandable why the service and operation is in such a state.
I would very much like a response please. Cheers.

People are so quick to leave a bad review but this is not my experience at all ? I went in on Thursday needing to come out with a laptop and knowing absolutely nothing about laptops! Michael and Josh were amazingly helpful very knowledgeable and in no way judged me for not being the least bit techy! They were really patient with me and kind and I was really happy when I left with my new laptop ?

Terrible was looking for a new tv not one member of staff asked if I needed help. None of the tv's have spec sheets on view or a QR code to see what they do.

Went in there today on 10/07/25 at around 1.30pm.
Wanted to buy a DAB radio, maybe 3 customers in the store. So many staff, asked 5 people to help with a product, none of them could help or wanted to help us. Absolutely shocking. Poorly run store. Had to get assistance by setting of an alarm. Yes the staff turned up but no help. Was going to walk out and go somewhere else. Spoke to many staff no help what so ever. Luckily Ryan came to our assistance. The only member of staff that wanted to help. Very professional and got the product we needed. I think Ryan you should find another job and not be part of that absolute shocking team.
You deserve better Ryan.

What a Bad customer service!stock label incorrectly!I payed different price on till what was on description and one of staff told me I should read description!clearly staff put stock incorrectly!not recommended at all !im not surprised people prefer buy everything online this days!crazy!rude!

You can?t really complain about the service. There isn?t any. Spent 30 to 40 minutes looking for what I wanted and then trying to find someone for assistance only to end up phoning customer care while in the store. Shocking! Then told to come back an hour later to pick up what I wanted. I?m sorry I?m not running around for Curry?s or their staff. Don?t bother shopping here. I guarantee you will find a better price and product online. I?m happy to wait for an online order as the SLA almost 99% of the time his adhered to.
