I went for a quick lunch, and there was a sandwich set so I ordered it. The staff taking orders was unfriendly and the sandwiches seemed to be reheated from previously made ones. I can understand this as it is a cheap price, but the crucial thing is that the stapler core came out while I was eating the sandwich. So I just took a picture and ate some potato fries. I will never go again.

I had a terrible experience with "KEMAL" at the checkout. My brother (28 years old) and I (30 years old) were trying to purchase cutlery when the system flagged it as a restricted item, requiring assistance. "KEMAL," a supposed professional customer service assistant, approached us and insisted on checking both our IDs. Despite my brother providing his physical ID, I didn't have one. I questioned why I needed to provide ID if, according to him, my brother already appeared younger and warranted verification. His response lacked coherence and logic, leaving me frustrated with the unprofessionalism and inadequate training exhibited by the checkout staff. @Asda, please reach out if you require further clarification.

I visited the store on 26th Jan at around 9.30pm. Whilst shopping on aisle 19 I kept my personal bag down to browse through items. In the meanwhile 2 girls sneakily lifted my bag and kept in their trolley (as checked by Security in their cctv).I am giving 2 stars just for the great help I received from the store person (Richard he was very kind) & Security who patiently listened and traced them on camera. Otherwise it would have been a negative rating.I just hope those 2 girls gets tracked down and handed over to cops. So that I can get my stuff back. This is really disgusting.Request someone from higher management to look into this

The website says 13 items are in stock. The store workers, if they can be bothered to attempt to help you don't understand what stock is apparently and also don't understand what customer service is at all. Traveled by train from Cambridge to pick up some trousers that george asda wont be making anymore i think, and the people who work here couldn't even be bothered to check their storage space for the 13 items of missing stock on their systems. I think this store should be audited, and i'm going to make a formal complaint to even the CEO if i have to. It seems based on these reviews that this store is one of the worst Asda stores in England, so perhaps it should be turned into a Tesco, or a Sainsburys or something. Because i genuinely think that the staff there are committing fraud, fixing their systems, and stealing stock.

Last Friday 22nd Dec 23 before Xmas at nine pm..choose asda to spend my monies with and because it advertised late nite shop..24 hrs..Thought... result -miss the crowds !!..and it was calm ..nice little mooch ...until ...!! I GOT to the till ..with over 250 pounds of shopping in my trolley as I queue to then be told there both closing ???...the only 2 on there ..asked if it was shift change ..as I'd wait ..got told by this women who I can only say had no customer service presuming a supervisor..if you can call her that ..no theres no others going on the tills go use the self checkout waving her hand to move me on .She was just laughing with smirk on her face and the others queing behind me along with myself where gobsmacked..this women was so rude and there was no customer service ...just a blatant smirk on her face..when I explained I had all my Xmas shopping in trolly over 250 pounds ..she just walked away ..with no offer of help ..If you advertise 24 hr shopping and it's 2-3days before Xmas you know as a store you have to cover them till .you know there sum that will miss crowds in day time ..it was utter disgrace the queue for self service was massive ...it took more time to go through that than do the shopping in first place. You have lost my custom and along with me others that where all complaining too .we even spoke to another manager that questioned her regarding the shutdown of till completely ..she simply didn't care and made it very obvious..I will not attempt to spend big monies in your store again and as a local will not recommend your store to my friends or to do Xmas shopping with your store ..your customer service stinks and the staff supervisor needs a little re-training .....sorry not sorry!!

Avoid the customer service desk. It's not the staff's fault because they are doing many things at once but managers need to learn to manage. If you want to waste your day in a que this is the place to come

I recieved a message asking to call the optcians to arrange an appointment to pick up my glasses. I have called 3 times over 3 days. No one answers the phone or responds to my voicemails. Then I try and call instore customer services - Same story no one answers the phone. Please review your system for glasses collection as there is no point in asking someone to call and then not answer the phone. Still not sure when I will be able to collect my glasses.

Shocking store! No checkout staff which was a nightmare with a big shop, this wasn't made clear when I walked in so I had to self scan over 40 items woth several needing to be checked for age. On leaving the store one of the main entrances which I had entered through was closed which then meant I needed to walk to the opposite end of the store just to leave, which added another 200m onto the 20m walk as it should have been.ALDI ALL THE WAY AS ITS A MUCH BETTER STORE IN PRICE AND SERVICE.

Went in store today aft purchase at decathlon. My mother can hardly walk and although there were mobility scooter s. Her brain is not co ordinated to use due to memory issues on the dimentia spectrum. She is elderly and frail. I sat her on a seat while i attempted to get a couple of items. I was having difficulty finding. Two members of staff said they didn't know where they were The 2nd staff member i asked was it not his job to find? He attempted to tho got distracted with another customer on route and walking off in the opposite direction. The 3rd member of staff said i dont know i only putting things on the shelf. Disgusting. Tesco will get my trade. Incompitence. I found my mother who then needed to use the toilets. I drove to the other end of the store. It was busy. Nowhere to park. The experience was complete to a high level as Michelle a cleaning member of staff assisted her. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Thank you

Been there multiple times for delivery collection for Justeat and Ubereats,Orders aren't ready and staff has no idea how long they gonna be,, always staff members complaining of short staff and only option give us cancel the order in which scenario we don't get paid at all... as self-employed it hurts,, wasting fuel and time.. no complaint form available when asked...Not good management... 2 stars given only for self checkout machines that allow cash payment as in tesco in town centre, not many self service machine allows cash transactions..

Rude rude little man at the counter today. I go to this store everyday. Told me to remove my staff at the self checkout to scan a restricted item(mirin vinegar) and before he could ask me if I have an ID or not he took off with my item and run away. Such disregard for customers it's shocking. Somebody else did come and I showed my ID and got my item but a little kindness goes a long way.

What a frustrating experience shopping in asda Stevenage today. Spent 20 minutes looking for jars of mincemeat. I walked up and down every aisle. Asked two of your colleagues. Told aisle 21, nope, not there. Asked another of your colleagues who was picking orders. He took me to the jam section, the home baking section, the seasonal section. Still couldn't find it. Finished my shopping and made my way to the tills. As I had a lot of items in a trolley, I went to a manned till. Only two cashiers. One with 5 people waiting, And one with 4 people. It took an eternity to get through. Many of those queuing were commenting how frustrating it is. The cashiers were very pleasant and worked quickly. It was the volume of customers and shopping for just two tills open. Compared to the amount of staff in asda, this is appalling. Equally appalling is the reason for doing it. To reduce staff numbers. Making us do your job for you by self checkout. Sainsburys do it too. Take a leaf out of the supermarket chain from the north of the country, Booths, who have gone back to manning all their tills. Its been a while since I had shopped in asda, its going to be a lot longer before I go back.

Absolutely awful queing this morning. Only 2 tills in use the queues were horrendous even on self scan and self checkout. They need more staff especially this time of year.Management need to grip this or they will loose customers to other supermarkets
