I needed an urgent examination due to an issue with my eyes. I managed to get an appointment an hour later. Thorough examination and good advice. Very reassuring. Helpful staff. I would recommend Vision Express St Albans.

Amazing service firstly from a lovely young lady who helped me choose the frames, then the optician was great and really seemed to care and finally the young man who fitted my prescription. Great choice of frames and also good voucher deal on Blue Light. Wouldn?t go anywhere else!!

Very poor. I didn't get the impression the assistant had been trained properly. The optician was ok but not very communicative about changes. After, the field test was a failure. I have done it dozens of times, never with my glasses on and I was obscured by my glasses pushed hard up against the screen. The optician ordered it to be redone. Over half an hour later I walked out... Appalling training. Communication and staff who could not care less!

The prescription was wrong for my glasses multiple times
They offered multifocal glasses, and they were blurry to see out of, I went yesterday to refund it, the staff-Linda- said the manager needed to provide the refund tommorow, which is today, then I went to the store today, they further delayed it and said to come tommorow, this is not my first experience , previously, I have returned incorrectly prescribed glasses because of reflecting blue lights in my glasses, they were refunded. The staff need to focus on prescribing the glasses properly instead of upselling glasses with various features.

Very polite and knowledgeable staff. Happy with the professional service I received when having an eye test, contact lens test and choosing frames for new glasses. Much better than their most famous competitor.
