Great first experience at Specs Factory. The team were very welcoming and made it fun. I had a really good, thorough eye test with excellent explanations throughout. And, drumroll?no upselling of new glasses that I don?t need (very little change in my prescription). They were very happy to change the lenses in an old pair of Ray Bans (that hasn?t happened before) so I am a very happy customer. My husband will go there too. Very happy to recommend. Thank you team.

Had an early sight test following blurred vision.Excellent optician who explained my condition in simple terms and eas very thorough and professional .She also listened carefully and gave very full answers.

I am highly recommending this place for any help needed with glasses, sunglasses or contact lenses. Their prices are the lowest I've found after shopping about and the team have been wonderful with my family and I.A special mention for the optometrists Zahra, who was extremely gentle and thorough with my 6 year old.

I brought 2 pairs of designer sunglasses in to be fixed. From the moment I stepped foot in the shop Sammy was very welcoming & her customer service was outstanding. Sammy asked Andy to look at my Sunglasses & Andy went above & beyond to do minor repairs & didn?t charge me. I can?t thank them both enough for how they helped me that afternoon. Very appreciated

Popped in this afternoon to see if they could repair my glasses after they were battered (nose piece broken off) by getting stuck under rollers at airport security. The gentlemen was lovely and had them fixed in less than 10 minutes. Also kindly re-adjusted and cleaned them too. Would highly recommend.

I lost one of my pads in my glasses I did not purchase at the Outlet. My glasses were cutting into my nose and expected to pay well for a new pad. The gentleman disappeared behind the counter and re-emerged a minute later having replaced both pads. I asked him how much I owed him. He said ?Nothing?.This will be the first place I go when it is time to replace my specs.

So helpful! I had tried multiple opticians to have a pair of sunglasses fixed, none were able/ willing to help. Popped into these guys and they managed to fix the glasses in less than 5mins - excellent service - highly recommend!

I cannot fault the service I received from The Spec Factory. My eye test was the most detailed one I have ever had and felt very personalised to my eye problems.The shop has a good selection of frames to suit everyone's budget and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Came in to see if my glasses could be adjusted as nowhere else would help, and they were sorted on the spot for me and without charge. Absolutely recommend :)

The most competent optician in St Albans! Superb service!!! Before him we went to almost all opticians in the city. Literally no other optician was able to help with a pair of broken glasses (dislocated gasket). Within less than 15 mins Andy repaired the glasses. In the meantime we were looking at other pairs - just in case it doesn't work. Grate selection of glasses as well. The go-to optician in St Albans!

This review is a long time coming and way too late! Just need to say how awesome this business is, got me out of a huge pickle a few days out from a 8 week holiday when I ran over my prescription sunnies.
