I was in the store at exactly 1055.they have closed the machine for paying so can't pay for my purchase. Spar management should look into this. Google says 11pm closing. So i should have pay for my purchase at least. Literally just lost a business. Calling out spar management they literally was waiting for store to closed even it's nit even 11pm yet they are closing till machines and self counter. Very disspointed.

?You are our neighbours that?s why we want to be there for you?? No. This is a review about a customer who had been patronising the Spar at Highfield for close to 15 years, I?ve always questioned this as there is also a major supermarket fairly close by with better variety/prices. This person?s mental health seriously deteriorated to the point where he was unable to work, additional anxiety meant he wasn?t claiming the benefits he desperately needed to live, thankfully he is now hospitalised in a psychiatric unit and has been for six months. Prior to his hospitalisation I went into this Spar with him to get him a few necessities as he was clearly seriously struggling. His unkempt appearance left no doubt. The staff were very hostile towards him and told me that he was barred and not allowed in. They only just allowed me in to get him a few bits, I asked what he had done, they told me shoplifting. I asked the person in question what he had stolen and he said ?a sandwich.?
I do not condone stealing, it impacts the business and other patrons, however, a little compassion goes a long way, especially for long standing patrons. The opening quote in this instance is ridiculous.

During my first visit on August 31st at approximately 7:15 PM, I was truly amazed by the warm and helpful attitude of the staff. They displayed exceptional friendliness, making my experience incredibly positive. The team's dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. This establishment is definitely doing a fantastic job in creating a welcoming environment. Kudos to the staff for their outstanding efforts!

Do not use Click & Collect and any other parcel collection services at this shop.I had asked for a package to be delivered to this shop for Click and Collect (couriered by DPD). I receive an email the following day informing me that my package has already been returned to the seller, before I had the chance to collect the package. I called the SPAR and I am informed that the shop is engaged in some sort of a disagreement with DPD, and that the SPAR is refusing to accept certain packages when they are delivered there by DPD.My experience over the phone with the staff at this shop was also not particularly positive. There was an unwillingness to take responsibility for the fact that I had lost both time and money due to the refusal to accept the delivery.I see that other people have left reviews with a similar problem. If only I had seen these beforehand! The SPAR should not be offering this service if they are unable to meet the requirements of this scheme.

Shocking prices and if something does look like a bargain, you wait until you see what you're charged for it. There's often a disconnect. Parking in the disabled spaces or loading bay for the flats is popular, as anyone stupid enough to spend money here clearly doesn't care about anyone else. Always playing really terrible music too. Worst shop for miles. Awful.

Been in twice both times items come up more than listed. Not offered a receipt so suspect they know what they are doing. Well done, keep the pound your system going though at £2.89, compared to £1.89 displayef made you. Youve lost a customer.

Don?t ever use there parcel collection service. I have had problems in the past and last week they refused to accept a parcel which was sent back to parcel returns and they have lost it. £60 down but nobody cares
