Booked in whilst staying in the area for a friends wedding. Turned up for my appointment and was advised they were running behind and asked to wait. About 25 minutes later was seen which wasn?t ideal as time was quite tight with the wedding that lunchtime.Id booked for a long hair blow-dry as there hadn?t been an option to book for a style though all I wanted was a volume-ous hair blow out and I have shoulder length hair. I didn?t really get what I asked for but it was a blow dry and I didn?t have time to chat about it as I was running late by this point.I was offered a hair conditioning treatment during washing and advised the price which I said yes to. However at the point of paying I realised just how expensive a blow dry is!! Massively over-priced for what I had - I paid £42 for a blow dry excluding the treatment which was an additional £17.

It was a pleasure to have my hair coloured by Becky. Both at my initial consultation and during the colour appointment she was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and so kind. I explained I have a neck injury and she really took my personal needs into account. My hair looks beautiful and is exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be back to see Becky next time

I visited for the first time and had an amazing blow-dry! The service was lovely. The salon manager was very friendly and welcoming. I had my hair done by Danielle and would highly recommend her. She really listened to what I wanted and took that into consideration all in all really happy and would recommend.

I had my hair washed, cut and blow dried by Becky, she was such a great hairdresser who I would definitely recommend! She was personable and lovely to chat to. Becky gave me great advice on how to maintain healthy hair and made the appointment really enjoyable!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

Had a full head of highlights done by Matilda this morning, which I was perfectly happy with, but after she ran out of time she asked if I?d be happy for Courtney to do my haircut. Fully assuming that I?d get the same quality cut on my long hair as I would have got from Matilda, I happily agreed but very soon regretted the decision. My hair got butchered and chopped for about an hour and it all turned into a complete disaster as I ended up with different level layers on each side of my face and a really thick sort of fringe halfway my neck. Thankfully I didn?t get charged for the haircut but I still ended up having to go to a different salon this evening to ?fix? my hair and undo much of the damage as it just looked horrendous, no matter whether I wore it up or down. I?ll never return to Saks again I?m afraid.Services: Hairstyling

I have been using Saks as my hairdresser for years and I don?t know why it?s taken me all this time to leave a review for them. Maybe I do today because I had just such a lovely experience from start to finish, from the ease of booking an appointment online, to a super friendly trainee who washed my hair, and an incredibly talented hairdresser (Kimberley). What I love the most though, aside the great service and haircut, is how I feel when I leave. All the staff there are so friendly that you feel you have actually just spent a couple of hours with some friends.Thanks guys. Really wonderful service and sorry it?s taken me so long to let Google know that!
