We went here with the kids thinking it would be a child friendly place. We asked for a high chair and were given a begrudging yes with an eye roll. There were 2 people working on a busy Saturday night. When we arrived it was 5.45 and we ordered within 15 mins. It took more than 1 hour 15 for the food to arrive by which point it was already almost bedtime and it was beyond the point we could enjoy the meal. Food was average to poor. I?m surprised a place with such bad service and not particularly good food is still in business where there is so much competition. Terrible

I prefer to go pizza express for my meal with kids and family, amazing service and food. I'm working as delivery driver the both managers always nice and try to serve the food as hot for the customer I really appreciate their effort. the team always good and friendly

Ordered via pizza express app, food took two hours, cold and hard.
Manager refused to accept complaint and just argued on the phone for 20mins.

It was an amazing experience to visit St albans pizza express on Thursday, thanks for the good service and food. Very friendly and pleasant staff and the food was amazing I would recommend to my family and friends.

I recently visited Pizza Express in St Albans and decided to try the lasagna. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The filling beneath the pasta layers was more like puréed meat, resembling something from a baby food jar. The overall dish lacked texture, flavor, and freshness?it reminded me of a low-quality frozen meal you?d pick up from Iceland. It was bland, unappetising, and absolutely not worth the price. Needless to say, I won?t be ordering it again. Pizza Express, you can do better!
I noticed a similar complaint from Laura L a year ago, which the general manager responded to, but it seems nothing has changed. They?re still serving up the same slop as shown in Laura L?s photo!

The food is always great, the staff always lovely, always a bit quiet for me, so maybe more people should go!!!!

When we visited the restaurant it was super busy evening saturday, but it doesn't affect on our service, very friendly staff and service. Food was excellent and quick service.

I love the pizza from pizzaexpress. But today while I went for my delivery order to the pizzaexpress. I feel insult by the staff behaviour specially that new guy , I saw first time on delivery orders. He asked me for thermal bag I show him he grabbed my thermal bag from my hands , And put the pizza in the bag, what was that behaviour? I feel insult I don't know why he is doing.
Too much disappointed if he have too much attitude ,he should not show this type of mentality on job.
