I love the mission of this place, but the items are more boutique and less everyday necessity. It's weird that they have signs that they really need more stock, and yet I'm competing with others on freecycle and gumtree for necessary items that the sellers/givers say were rejected by the charity shops. The charity shops say that stuff (pots and pans, plates, glasses, cooking utensils, lamps, etc.) just doesn't sell, but I'd have been happy to buy it. I thought Oxfam wanted to keep secondhand circulating?
