My mum and I were the only people in the shop and the girl started following us around. It was a bit weird but we just let it go. We were ready to check out and a lady -presumably the girls mum- whispered something to her. Apparently we had ripped open a packet of sanitary towels, we didn?t even see them in the shop! My mum still payed but we will never be coming back.

Very rude staff.Myself and my eleven year old daughter went to this shop for the first time. We were the only people in the shop, and a member of staff followed us round, which was quite uncomfortable.Then just after we paid at the till, a member of staff thrust a torn packet of sanitary towels at me and told me ?If you do things like this, other customers won?t be able to buy them?. I was taken aback and pointed out we hadn?t even seen the packet, let alone picked it up or damaged it. ?CAMERAS we have cameras? she said.I said I?d be happy to pay if she thought we?d damaged it, although I was certain we hadn?t so wasn?t sure what was on the cameras. She said that yes, I should pay, and took the payment with very bad grace.The whole experience was very unsettling and unpleasant, especially for my daughter who is just out of hospital and feeling very vulnerable, and burst into tears when we left the shop.The torn packet was only £1.49, so surely not worth intimidating customers over. It?s certainly the last time we?ll be spending any money there.

Worst shop in St Albans rude staff rip customers off make you spend a certain amount before you?re allowed to use your card this is wrong and not legal to do to people/customers there is no minimum payment law? But they are doing this to customers? I will inform the relevant people to report this!

Went in yesterday and there was a new lady behind the till. She was rude and scanned items twice, not impressed with this service at all. The usual shop keeps are very lovely and it?s usually a very nice shop but yesterday completely tainted the experience for me.
