Is 0 stars an option?
Dan the Assistant Manager is very poor at his job, he can?t manage customers or his team.
Multiple tables having issues, and he would not come to speak to them. Customers being asked to pay for a meal that wasn?t eaten as they can?t get it right.
Stone cold steak, the butter doesn?t melt, no cutlery, starters before drinks, no lettuce wedge at all, barely an apology.
We come here regularly, with no issues with the old manager that we always saw.

Absolutely brilliant food which is why we went to miller and carter as we had previously been to other venues.
The service wasn't the best and very slow which put a bit of a dampener on the evening even though it was a reasonably quiet evening.
I would like to know if giving a tip is customary as we weren't given a choice but to give one even though the service was off.
I am asking because I've never experienced a restaurant where you cant make up your own mind on if you left a tip and also the value of the tip.
I have replied to your message with an email as requested and I have received no reply.

Just had a fabulous meal at Miller and Carter in Wheathampstead! Katie was such a lovely server, really friendly and bubbly! She was attentive and made us feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious as was the strawberry twist mocktail! We will definitely back. Thank you!

Love M&C and Wheathampstead is one of our favourites to visit. Katie was our steak expert today when we visited for lunch. Great service, great food, as always.

We booked a meal for 2, Julie served us and was amazing and attentive throughout. Our drinks were a little late (no problem and no complaint from us) but Julie apologised and insisted the drinks would be taken off the bill. Overall the food, atmosphere and service from Julie was excellent. Thank you!
