Extremely poor service. They refuse to do simple tasks such as printing out bank statements, saying you need to make an appointnent in order to do so. In contrast, other banks are far more helpful. (my other bank helped me within 5 minutes)

Came to pick up my card I was standing at the counter all alone for 2 minutes when finally the guy looked up at me then I was told I have to wait 40 minutes for someone to talk to me. There was only 3 customers in the bank including me. Shame on them.

My experience in this bank is basically a reflection of how a lots of the general British workers are, unprofessional, irresponsible, lazy, slow, confused (among themselves), poor. Their time is valuable, not yours. Its a cultural thing, so i am not surprised how i was treated here, cause similar things happened in many other UK companies and occasions as well. Tried to simply open an account, went there 3 times and still fail. That's unbelievable to an Asian. Astonishingly poor, I applaud you, UK workers!

I opened account around two months ago and never had any problem. Staff is very efficient and helpful. They solve issues while I sit and wait which is very impressive.. Inside looks like a high end coffee shop, always clean and tidy. Only thing missing is coffee machine

Really poor customer service from Sam today. Told me to my face, business customers come first as they are more important. We are all customers and it?s poor service to distinguish like this. Shame on you. It?s not downtown abbey!

Tried to open accounts for my kids (I have 3), called 30mins beforehand and was told to come in and it was a "quick process", however when I actually arrived, with 3 kids in tow, I was told I should have made an appointment and even when I do it will take a minimum of 3 hours!! Staff blamed the call centre for not understanding what happens at the branch.After some discussion about what info they could possibly need from children that would take 3 hours to compile (still can't work it out) I decided to leave and go elsewhere.Really poor.P.s. website says "open an account in minutes". The guy in the branch joked "yes, we mean 60 minutes.... per person".

As a small business owner I have been continually impressed with Metro Bank. Having used 3 other traditional banks in the last 21 years I can confidently and professionally compare them. They are a locally focused, well run branch with a great central office backing them up.

Bank with them for a couple of years now. My account managers never returns my calls or have their phone off. Can't run feeds to my Quick Books, messed up my CBILs application and my BBLs application. As soon as other banks are open for account transfers I am moving.

Worst experience with a bank. Please don't be bothered if you are being served by ZAIN, a male staff. He is so unhelpful and uninterested in your matter. Very impolite and no smile for the duration of 2 hours considering he works in customer service. Unknowledgeable about the products and services offered by Metro Bank. Insisted that we have to download app to create an online account, but that is so untrue. Unfriendly and never offered gifts to children opening new bank account. Took us almost 2 hours to open a new bank account. However, all the other staffs were friendly and helpful especially the branch manager Charlene. The magic money is good in encouraging young ones to start savings, however, the screen is too high and my 8 years old can't even reach the screen. Metro bank should look into this. Happy with the opening hours and would suggest you go after 6pm on weekdays, which is less quiet and recommend you deal with a lady and stay away from ZAIN. Thank you
