Staff not at all aware of customers.. . Staff here used to be attentive and knowledgeable .. twice I had to go to the back to get advice on prices , stood by tills for 10 mins .. had to walk into the storage to get someone ., they weren?t happy . If you want people to spend their money there get some basic level customer service training please . will be a long time before I go back .

Bought 24 x Peroni red for £26.88, however when charged my account shows £27.13? Why?

Had a wedding wine tasting with Liz and she was absolutely fabulous. She threw a few curveballs in with our choices based on our menu and price point and they were exactly what we wanted and went for. Couldn?t recommend more!

welcoming shop with good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, the staff is very welcoming and helpful as soon as you enter the shop they make you feel welcome, I especially thank the employee named Elisabetta for her patience, capable of making me feel at home by helping me search what I was looking for with a lot of professionalism, friendliness and skill, explaining and advising me on the wines I was looking for, a true connoisseur who knows the product for sale and with a lot of sympathy and dedication guides you to the choice you make so that you don't regret the purchase you made.We will absolutely return, thanks Elisabetta brava ??

Fairly good selection esp. English bubbly. A bit short on Spanish but otherwise a broad selection of non-French vino. Friendly staff. Tastings possible. Good parking.

Excellent service for our wedding. From start to finish and very friendly, professional and customer centric service. Spoke with various individuals to help plan our wedding wine delivery, having to navigate postponements, changes in stock and even honouring historic prices without being requested to.Couldn't recommend them enough!

I had shopped at Majestic St Albans for many years : 15+. The store used to be well-run, with helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly staff.Sadly, this is no longer the case:-Problems fulfilling a simple online order. Unauthorised substitutions. Double charging instead of a credit. They don't answer the phone or return calls.Pretty hopeless. Best avoided; there are plenty of alternatives around :-(

Phenomenal service. I am no wine expert but I knew which blends and regions I wanted to try. Henry walked me around the store recommending several wines and explaining what he liked about them - he explained what to look out for in terms of flavours and aromas and gave me a few to taste. He could not have been more helpful. He spent ages with me, didn?t seem to be in any rush and didn?t make me feel in any way uncomfortable by my lack of wine knowledge. Very nice manner and a pleasure to buy my wine from here!

Great shop. Really enjoy coming here. The staff are all super friendly and know me by name now...i really enjoy being called Mr.B!Long may they continue to serve the local area!I'd like a tad more natural wine though :)

The team are beyond reproach! Had an issue with an online order. The Manager at St Alban's was superb at sorting it out. Service could not have been any better. He is a credit to Majestic.
