I left my necklace with Kings Hill Jewellery to be repaired (soldering), when they took it in on the Monday they said it will be ready for collection next Thursday, fine. So I left it with them. Come Thursday, no call so I gave them an extra day and called them on the Friday to arrange a collection, but they said my necklace wasn?t ready and needed another week. I then told them to cancel the work and bring my necklace back asap, to which they replied that it will still be back next Thursday, fine. So I waited another week. Once I finally got my necklace back, it was returned in a worse state than I?d given it to them in. They attempted to repair the necklace even after I told them not to, not only did they do a rubbish job but they further damaged the chain, the links that needed to be soldered on to the rest of the chain now have black burn holes in them and is completely discoloured from the rest of the chain, part of the chain now needs to be replaced. This is a very sentimental item and they?ve completely damaged it! What was meant to be a minor repair turned into a nightmare!

I have both purchased and sold pre owned watches through Kings Hill. These guys always have the best pieces in stock and seriously know their stuff. Heaven for a watch nerd like me! Such a breath of fresh air not having to play the Rolex AD waiting game and Max and Julius are an absolute pleasure to deal with! I?ll be back for my next piece soon!

After nearly giving up searching for the perfect Rolex Deepsea Kings Hill jewellers had the one. We were 2.5hrs drive away so decided to trust them implicitly and they reassured me the watch was genuine and came with all the relevant box & papers. The Deepsea arrived today special delivery (17/01/24) and it is pristine, no marks whatsoever, perfectly described. I cannot thank Julius & Max enough for supplying me my dream watch.Thank you again and would not hesitate to use again!

I took a necklace (14 carat fine trace chain attached by its wings to a gold over silver opal and aquamarine pendant butterfly) to be repaired as the chain had detached from the pendant at one side. All that needed doing was to re-attach the chain, close and solder the very small final link, 2 or 3mm diameter.To my horror, when I went to collect it, they charged me £75! For a 10 minute job!? When I queried this, I was told there is a minimum charge per item. Why did no one inform me of the minimum charge? There is absolutely no way I would have used this jewellers if I'd known this as I'd wrongly assumed they would have reasonable rates for small repairs. Goodness was I wrong. I cannot recommend them for repairs due to this unpleasant experience.

The team at Kingshill Jewellers are excellent in the service they deliver. A really warm greeting on arrival. I attended here regarding watch enquiries and found them to be very helpful, knowledgeable and have a really good running stock of most luxury brands you can imagine, Rolex, Cartier, Breitling, Tudor, Omega etc. The actual venue is situated in beautiful St albans and the store itself a very nice place to be internally and externally with lots of character. Max, Keith and Julius all helped make this a really nice buying experience & I hope to keep my purchases for a long time. All the pieces seen by me were as close to new as you'll find with box, papers etc. Clearly well sourced & a really friendly and positive experience had. I will definitely be returning. And also regularly keeping an eye on their website for more gems. The perfect place to make a special purchase. ??
