I cannot thank Hobbs staff at Cambridge for helping me locate a dress that I have been searching for. Ellen @ St Albans store who looked for me in store, then rang me back after she had looked. Then told me where to park so I could come and try it on.
The customer service at Hobbs is phenomenal and it?s why I love shopping there.

Shocked by the rudeness of one member of staff whose customer service skills require improvement. Her unfortunate manner (aggressive and patronising) could have been attributed to her having a bad day, but when she made a comment about me not being my usual size around my waist (I am a size 6/8!), my daughter and I burst out laughing in shock. Luckily, I do not have any body image issues. Needless to say we won?t be buying anything in that store for the foreseeable future!

Cannot thank Jo and Bohart(?) enough for their fabulous assistance today in getting me my Hobbs dress for my step daughter?s wedding in a smaller size (I needed a smaller petite size). They called around all the Hobbs shop until they found one for me. Went over and beyond on service and all the time with lovely smiles. They were genuinely invested in helping me. Thanks again, I shall be returning ?

I went to see if they had a dress I wanted, in stock for my son's wedding. The staff were so lovely, and although it was out of stock, Helen (?)the manager found out it was in stock in another store. She kindly got the Winchester store to send it to me. The staff at Winchester store were so helpful too. Thank you all so much.

Quick update to previous review: I returned to the St Albans store last week to collect some ordered-in items? Ellen and Kaitlin both did a truly amazing job of sorting out an issue, which was in no way their fault, my fault or the branch?s fault; I wanted to add to my earlier post because clearly the St Albans team work very hard together to offer the best possible service, which goes beyond the ?norm?. Based on my recent experience, credit is well deserved.Exceptional customer service? Sarah and her manager Helen simply could not have been more professional, helpful, knowledgable and personable; I needed advice about a dress, shoes, hat and bag - they both spent time with me (although they and their colleague continued of course to serve other customers) and I was able to make up my mind to the point where I feel completely happy with the choices. Helen made several telephone calls to other stores and miraculously managed to source the very bag I wanted, in the colour I wanted, which will be sent from another Hobbs store (a store I couldn?t have travelled to) and, whilst she did this, Sarah steamed my dress as it had arrived badly creased from a concession store. I cannot recommend Hobbs in St Albans highly enough and I will definitely be shopping there again (they carry a comprehensive range but it?s the exceptional customer service that makes them stand out for me). So thank you Helen and thank you Sarah.
