We sold and bought through Hamptons, St Albans and they were very helpful and efficient and we would highly recommend them. Grant, Janine and Sujad were particularly helpful and were always on hand when needed.

For Sales, maybe. Stay away for property management. Only interested in collecting fees and making sure they have an easy life. Do not conduct genuine referencing of tenants and when problems arise offer no support despite collecting full managed services fees. Very, very disappointing personnel and service standards.

I rented a property in St Albans through Hamptons. The property suffers from system damp issues and Hamptons colluded with the landlord by covering up the damp and mould. They did this before I rented thr property and also have just done it again to the next poor tenants. It is Hamptons' handyman, who I talked to, who carries out the masking to hide the issue for a short period, after which it is too late for the tenant as they are locked into the tenancy. Hamptons St Albans did not deny that this was the practice they were undertaking, which is surprising for a premium agency such as them.

I have just completed on a house sale and am extremely happy with the service I received from Hamptons St. Albans. All the staff I encountered were professional, efficient, friendly and very quick to respond to any emails/calls I made, whilst also proactively keeping me informed of all potential buyers' visits and corresponding feedback. They also showed me great kindness, as the house involved was my childhood home.

From start to finish I have been impressed with Hamptons/St Albans branch. Grant and Barbara looked after me with professionalism, honesty and an understanding approach. Janine in sales progression did an OUTSTANDING job managing a complex double chain, going beyond her remit to try and get the chain to exchange in time. Hamptons, St. Albans has recently assisted me with the sale of my house during which I found the staff to be helpful, friendly and efficient.At all times, they were very willing to answer any queries I had reference the sale of the house, as well as any queries concerning the housing market in general. Their time and advice was much appreciated and valued; but perhaps most crucially, they proved themselves to have my best interest uppermost at all times.As such, I feel confident to recommend them to anyone who is considering selling their house in this area.

We recently bought a house where Hamptons was the sole selling agent. I found them very professional, responsive and easy to deal with. I think it's a very good idea that they have a sales progressor to help get sales over the line, whether it's liaising with solicitors or contractors, or between seller and buyer. I would definitely recommend Hamptons.

Amazing!!Thank you Hamptons for the service!I very recently used Hamptons for the sale of my property and honestly cannot fault them. Grant, Barbara and Janine were absolutely amazing!Not only are they very very reasonable the personable service I received was excellent. Selling my property was very emotional for me but the second I met them and signed I knew I was in good hands. They really did deliver every step of the way. Friendly and very informative throughout. I initially chose to call them based on the great reviews on here so wanted to make sure I left my own to say they really do live up to what you read on here. I highly recommend them!

Hamptons have provided an excellent service. They were recommended to me by a friend (they'd just sold her house) and I ended up thanking her for the recommendation.They acted as sole selling agent for our house. Hamptons were honest, professional, diplomatic, and supportive through what transpired as a challenging process (no fault of Hamptons) and offered surprisingly competitive rates for a big company with such a massive reach. They were always attentive, even out of hours. A special thank you to Grant, I really don't think we would have completed without your extra effort and support!

We have recently bought an apartment in St. Albans for which Hamptons were the selling agents. During the process we dealt with Barbara, Grant and Janine. We were dealing remotely from Ireland.The service was as good as anyone could expect - quick, accurate, no query refused as being beyond their duty, going the extra mile and always pleasant.There is no doubt we will use Hamptons when we come to sell which hopefully will not be for many years.
