I was taken through the many options / choices for sofa intended for my new townhouse in north London. A challenge for me as Ive only taken in the downsizing of living room space having lived until recently in a Victorian house conversion. Lucy Aldrich was very knowledgable, patient and pleasant and I could not have wanted better advice! After all that I preferred the design of a Parker Knoll sofa at another company, not something Lucy could have remedied. Thanks very much Lucy!

Ordered in February, advertised as 6-8 weeks to arrive, took just over 13 weeks to arrive. They blamed the manufacturers for the delay, no apologies and no form of compensation.
When it arrived the fabric was grey, nothing like the dark brown shown on the website (in the photos).
We raised the colour issue and it took a lot of chasing, back and forth and over a month to get to the point that we were reluctantly offered a remake or refund. We looked at some other samples but the colours didn?t look as shown and weren?t suitable for the room we had decorated (to fit the mocha brown sofa shown online).
Overall, between the delivery taking twice as long as advertised and the fabric being a completely different colour to advertised online, I would stay far clear of this company.

I dealt with Ruth and Lara both of them were very helpful, very efficient and knew their products.
We ordered new material to have our sofa reupholstered, it turned up quickly and now sofa looks fabulous.

Great solid sofas with lasting material but they charge extortionate for pillows and since the 2 sets of pillows we bought the price doubled to about 350 GBP for 4 pillows that were otherwise 200 GBP. Rip off as the pillows aren't justified for that price whereas the sofas just about are.

We visited the Hertford shop and were delighted by the range of sofas and the fantastic customer experience. Aimee was phenomenal in her attentiveness and in her knowledge of all the Darlings product ranges. She was extremely professional and not at all pushy, providing expert and honest advice. The large hanging swatches of all fabric options made it super easy to decide on our final sofa. Would highly recommend Darlings in Hertford.
