I bought a pair of frames in the store only to find they didn't fit too well when i got home...I tried to get a refund when I returned to the store...surprised to hear that they will not refund the money I paid...the owner was rude and not helpful at all...i am now seeking advice...avoid avoid avoid....

Bloody brilliant.I did some research online, dived into the Goodge Street shop for a chat and a quick try-on. Had to dash, so bought the frames online a couple of days later. Delivered for free the very next day. Absolutely perfect service; cool, affordable frames that seem really well made. Top stuff all round

Great, distinctive selection of specs and sunglasses. I receive compliments on a daily basis from colleagues and clients for the style I wear! The company's founder and designer, Robert Roope, is a respected name in the industry and lovely gentleman. There is really no other place to go for your eyewear!

Lovely store with really cool, vintagey styles to choose from. Decently priced and good quality lenses. Very friendly service from Mr Roope and the other staff, who helped me find the right frames for me (I am useless at buying frames). I could have spent slightly less at Specsavers, but the frames and service here is much, much better. I chose my frames and had them out of the store within 30 minutes. Really happy with my glasses and would 100% recommend people visit Robert Roope Opticians.

Really excellent service. Daryl was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient and has the patience of a saint (think my girlfirend and I tried on almost everytnig in the shop). Visited the shop on Tuesday, glasses delivered on Thursday morning. Fantastic range of top quality glasses ranging from slightly unusual to "out there". Couldn't be happier. Thank you

When purchasing a pair of glasses, especially one which cost over £200 you expect them to last if used properly. After a little over a year my wifes pair broke on the bridge after cleaning the lenses with a cloth, they literally snapped under no pressure. After a call they informed her that it is not their problem & don't want to help. Pretty poor customer service if they can't even be bothered to inspect them and see what the problem is.
