Had a lovely meal there for my birthday last week.
Great service, we all enjoyed our food. The waitress was very attentive, and the manager was very excellent.

Had the buttermilk chicken with pancakes and eggs. Chicken and eggs were great however pancakes were quite dense , slightly undercooked and the chilli syrup was sparingly applied to the dish which made it feel quite dry. Right in the middle of the town, Bill's St Albans restaurant has a real Bill's vibe, open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between. Previously a bar, we refurbished the building, exposing brickwork and other long lost features along the way, to create a warm and characterful restaurant.
