Great service and friendly staff.
A little confused by some of the reviews that have been posted here about the Spar Shop Hatfield Road, St Albans.
I have been using the shop for over a year now mainly for the inpost parcel service.
I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful when collecting or dropping off parcels and I am in there virtually every day!
I am so regular the staff even greet me by name when I enter the shop.
So don?t be influenced by the negative reviews go to the shop and find out for yourself !
Great place to drop off packages with parking outside.

I do not understand how a shop keepers can be so rude & Arrogant, they do not deserve customers in this shop, both person behind the counter are Rude, Arrogant, Ignorant and disrespectful, my experience of dropping of a parcel was one of it's kind in my life time... They ask you to take the parcel to a location in the store you have no knowledge of after sticking the labels on, They print the labels and throw it at you to stick them on then throw the paper peel in front of you mubbling Take your garbage with you, I said I brought nothing with me, the paper peeled from the label is yours, they refused and made me to take the peels with me, it's not a choice to go there, it's the nearest drop of point to me for the parcel, avoid at any cost.

Super rude old man owner! He pointed at a customer and scolded her loudly just because she provided wrong date of notification during parcel collection. Very rude. Shock to see his attitude, will never go to that shop again!

Rude staff. If you don?t want to accept parcels, simply remove yourself from the service. Don?t make those who bring parcels to your shop bad for doing so.

The owner is very rude if you don?t spend money in the shop he doesn?t value you as a customer I always felt disrespected and threatened that he wouldn?t accept my future parcels ar the store!!

ROBBED MY PARCELS WORTH £400+!! Avoid this store at all costs. I would give it less if I could. Ordered 2 parcels to be delivered at this store as a collection point and upon going to collect my parcels I am told they are not there. With delivery photo proof long side the delivery details, address and order number. I was rudely rushed out of the store and told there?s nothing they can do?. I went back as it was the owner I initially spoke to and there was another worker there who actually tried to help and look for my parcels but there was no luck. Order and delivery companies won?t refund or replace as their job was done and I am now down over £400 due to this store stealing my 2 parcels.
