Had a bad experience with Argos, a member of staff called Prasamna was very unprofessional they way she treated me in front of other customers. I came with a faulty item which was purchased in March of this year, she said it was my fault that it was faulty and for me to contact the manufacturer even though I purchased jewellery from Argos. She showed her earring which was a stud and saying she bought this 2 years ago and had nothing wrong, implying it was me who ruined it, I said and mine was a drop earring that one of the earring wasn?t securely fitting kept falling out there?s a massive difference. She was very argumentative told me to call the manufacturer. I then Spoke to head office and was told to go back to store to get a refund as long as I had a valid receipt which I did, I can get a refund. Very disappointing as I am a loyal customer for over 30 years and I?ve never heard of this policy.

Very poor customer service by ?Alex? She claimed to be manager she told me. Argos London Colney. Came in with Apple report straight from Watford Apple Store manager told me launch consumer right with Argos as I bought my AirPods Pro 2 from there. 16 months old out of warranty now Apple can?t help but they provided me with report. Showed Alex my report from Apple Store she denied me service without even proper look at the paperwork and She is not interested to see the report from Apple and Argos Purchase Receipt clearly stating ?Not Misused by customer, It has hardware issues?. Alex(Manager) told me to get independent report otherwise she can?t help when I showed her Apple already gave me independent report she could?ve checked with Apple or call whoever she needed to call to atleast verify, She told me there?s no one above her to check with, I was so confused how can someone be manager or put on to be a manager for a very reputable company like Argos She has no knowledge of consumer right at all. Very rude and unprofessional.

Always long wait time only two staff working when there should be more when there?s 10 plus people waiting. Stupid man wouldn't accept my Scottish notes when it?s legal tender although I came a few days ago and paid another colleague did accept it!! Get more staff ASAP

The worst manager that I met in my life from them Head office I had a confirmation that the Chromebook on July when I bought it after 5 minutes same day same time when I open it was the screen broke, they said to me call our customer service. Call them three times and they never came back to me. Yesterday duty manager on shift he was so rude and plus he didn?t accept the email confirmation that one of he?s managers give me. This is ridiculous that one of the biggest company Argos doesn?t have a good manager in the store. I am going through the law with them so please everyone should do the same I don?t have anything for free from them. That?s why Argos is close down them stores because of this situation the management is rubbish

Went there on Friday 25th October to collect the tumble dryer we had ordered. I've never been to that branch of Argos before as we had a branch in Borehamwood. I will not be going back there as the man serving us was unhelpful and rude...said "you might need a big trolley for your item" he thought he was being funny... I wasn't laughing !!!. I really thought that the store would have a flat bed trolley to transport big items to a collection point. So we were really shocked to find that he expected two pensioners to carry a tumble dryer out of Sainsbury's across the car park to their car. He seemed to find the situation highly hilarious and was most unhelpful. We were lucky a kind member of Sainsbury's team was passing by and was able to help us out of the store with the item. I will never go back to that Argos store and will make sure all my family and friends know how we were treated. Appalling!!!!

Works well if you need to pick something up whilst doing your shopping. Other than that, they need to bring back the larger stores.
Having personally worked for this store in particular when it first opened, I can see it has massively dropped. Whenever I shop in there/collect something, there are either too many staff standing round chatting/on their phones or no one to be seen at all.
Glad they?ve finally installed a small bench for customers if they need a seat whilst in there. Don?t agree with the cash registers being in the middle of the shop floor, where you can be easily surrounded by customers.

I had very poor customer service provided by this Argos branch manager. I was collecting Lego I bought online and found some damage to the box. I've asked if he could reflect this into the price I've paid. Unfortunately he refused and in fact lectured me that I don't need the box at all. I think it's for me to decide if box is important or not, tried to explain this to him but he was unwilling to help. I'm regular Argos customer and been to many branches and Colney branch experience is the worst I had so far.

Amazing Customer Service! Troy went I thought above and beyond. My item was ready for collection but Troy saved me a journey to collect by personally ringing me to say the box was damaged and he would re-order another item for me in case the contents were damaged.I met Troy when collecting my item the next day, so helpful!!! Good work Troy ?????

absolute worst store no wonder the high street is dying. reserved an item and got it confirmed, went to pick the item up and they said it could not be sold untill 3pm as thats when its released???? every shop in the country is selling it right now as it was released at mid night absolute joke, the funny thing is i can reserve and collect right away from your st albans store its laughable. over an hour waiting in store and you had 2 copies on the shelf but cant sell untill 3pm never shopping with you again.

I got a fridge from there the ice box turns on and off so every time I pull something out water comes out onto my kitchen floor, and I have multiple sclerosis and unstable on my feet ,and a wet floor dont help.
