I remember the first day I ever started with abbots care it was during the first lockdown. I was very nervous and uneasy, but abbots care and the team made me feel so welcome and ever since then working with abbots has changed my life in the best possible way.I absolutely love my job and caring for all of my clients. The team are amazing and the staff and even the management. They have always been there for me through my ups and downs. I can honestly say working with abbots is a pleasure. There is always training on so many different levels I've even worked my way up to be senior and would definitely continue to grow within the company and as a person. Abbots care is an outstanding company to work for they are apart of my life. Definitely recommend.

The round-the-clock care extended to my mother was exceptional. Abbotts meticulously vet their staff, and my mum was thoroughly content with her live-in carer. The support team adeptly handled the few issues we encountered, showcasing their proficiency.

Absolutely shocking! Husband is complex care as is non verbal, incontinent and immobile. Not one of the carers has any experience in this field and several have only had 3 weeks with the company. I have had experience of being frightened in my own house, carers being insolent and lazy and none of them are proactive in either offering to help me or see what they can do to motivate my husband. Carers and DOMS either don?t turn up or I?m not notified. Am on the phone daily and receive multiple apologies but nothing is ever solved. Office staff do not communicate either to each other or, more importantly, to me. I now am an expert in doing EVERYTHING for my husband- cooking, cleaning, washing but, most relevant, full body washing, bum wiping, moving him from one place to another and keeping him motivated. I was promised someone to help PEG feed by November but , yet again, not fulfilled. Do not believe what this company promises as they don?t deliver. Am in the process of speaking to member of Parliament, Ombudsman, and Continuing Health Care who, via NHS, are paying for this abominable service,

Working at Abbots Care has been very advantageous for me. I am currently doing a degree in learning disability nursing and part of the course is going to practice placement. One of my placement i was sent to was at a care home with vulnerable patients who were bed-bounds. I found the placement very easy and the nurses as well as carers were very pleased with me as I was quite resourceful and helpful in assisting in patients care however it is all thanks to the experiences I have gathered working with Abbots. I hope this encourages more people to take this into consideration.

Fantastic carer's to my mum, she absolutely loves them, they so kind to her, she loves having a laugh with them all, and she really appreciates them, allowing her to continue living in her home, they are so respectful to her and she tells me about her Issac, Mo, Rashid etc, and Lynn who goes to her and washes her hair, who i have met and was so lovely to mum, it's reassuring to know mum's in good hands with Abbott's Care team

I don?t even use Abbot care but have been woken up (including my children) morning and late at night (past 9.30pm) for a week now!!!! This due to the inability of caters to check the address of the street vs. Where google map is taking them? the address they have is nowhere close to ours but it keeps happening? useless!

It?s been an over a month working with Abbots care but I can proudly say that it is a professional care company who sets high standard's for care services and is a top employer within the care industry. They offer great training, communicate well with their staff and there is unparalleled support from supervisors, trainers and office staft. This is a company who really appreciate their workers and are keen to celebrate your strengths to develop your career in care. They are always in reach on the other end of the phone for queries no matter how small and will endeavour to be as flexible to your needs within reason. With Abbots care You can take pride in delivering care as they put client and staff well-being at the forefront of their business.Currently I?m working as a part time carer but I feel fortunate if I get a opportunity to do full time work with abbots care I really appreciate the management as they truly are professional in all aspects and dedicated to delivering quality care to all their customers. This is a 5 star employer who pays fairly for your whole shift including travel time, plus your mileage.A pleasure to work for.

My husband was forced by the social worker at the hospital on his discharge to have your company come in to hoist him out of bed and back to bed daily ,nothing else is needed from your company as I am capable of looking after my husband but your company are demanding he gets out of bed at 9 20 am and sit on a sofa till 9 pm at night, sorry abbot care that's not going to happen and you are hindering his recovery, as I have to open the front door to admit your carers I will not be opening it at 9 pm at night as my husband social worker has suggested to you the hours 10 am to 6 pm for your visits but obviously abbots care ignore their service users requests. Evenings are my husband and I telly time so no admittance after 6 30 pm by abbots care starting today !!!!.
