Top notch Chinese and the best one ever!! They say you always favour your own Chinese but I truly believe ours is the best! The hor d?oeuvres are just amazing and the staff are always so friendly and hard working!! The chicken in yellow bean sauce and cashew nuts is my favourite dish- but there are so many to choose from! I recommend both the take away and to eat in but eating in is definitely recommended!!!

How the mighty have fallen and such a shame.
Peaking Palace used to attract the likes of Rod Stewart and his family to enjoy quality meal.
Now? The food is terrible, bland and just not up to par.
This used to be the best chinese for miles and the go to if said cuisine was wanted.
Untill they fire whoever the new chef is, avoid.

We were a party of four and had a set menu.
They were very accommodating when we needed to change the rice dish.
The food came promptly and was delicious.

We all really enjoyed the food, there is something for everyone. Good vegetarian options. It's very tasty. The wait staff are super friendly and quick with the service.

Ordered the special fried noodles, sweet and sour chicken balls,some egg fried rice and the veggie crispy aromatic duck, really looked forward to eating it but was very disappointed with most of the dishes, the noodles were very bland! It?s as though they forgot to put the seasoning in? The chicken balls were over cooked with dry chicken inside, and the rice was also quite bland, the veggie duck was okay but not as good as last time, the restaurant wasn?t that busy but the takeaway side was very busy with people waiting for their food, as the food was good last time although that was six months ago, I can only put down to when they are busy the quality of the food is greatly reduced, hence my low score.

been here twice in last month. can't fault the food or service. both times they were busy but did not have to wait for food or drinks. staff really friendly.

TERRIBLE ATTITUDE ! came in on a Sunday at 9 pm and was told I couldn?t eat in the restaurant as it was too late . This restaurant closes at 1030pm so they obviously couldn?t be bothered to serve anymore a Full 1.5 hours before closing !! as someone who has been coming here for many years it left a very bitter feeling . When I questioned the timing the staff member gives me some pathetic excuse it?s because it?s Xmas DONT advertise false opening hours and waste people?s time and I won?t be coming back here in a hurry . Horrible attitude from staff
